I just picked my car up from this shop yesterday after bringing it in to repair my brakes and to my surprise there was noticeable damage to the interior of my vehicle - animal droppings, the seal around my front passenger window was chewed through and so was the back driver side seatbelt. i then brought up the damage that happened to my vehicle while it was in their care and Ivonne claimed no one had been in the car or noticed the damage at all, basically refusing to take accountability for the damage. then, she had her husband call me to ask how he can help... only to then talk over me and make jokes about "catching the rat and charging it for the damage." I asked that they either repair the damages or reimburse me for the damages and he didn't agree to either of those things but instead tried to come up with any possible reason as to why it isn't their fault. He, just like his wife, was basically saying none of it is their responsibility and he even tried to imply that i caused the damage myself or i brought a rat to the shop in my car. He then said he doesn't know what's right and wrong when it comes to my car being in his possession because he's not a lawyer and i told him he may need a lawyer because i'm considering taking legal action for the damages. After I mentioned that, he became clearly bothered and annoyed so he continued to make jokes and speak over me instead of offering to rectify the situation. Regardless of who caused the damage or how it happened, the point is my car was their responsibility as long as it was in their possession and they refuse to acknowledge that. It was an EXTREMELY unprofessional exchange and I'll never recommend this shop to anyone nor would I go there again.
Got an appointment to get my car fixed, the very next day. We have taken several of our vehicles there and they do an awesome job fixing them. They are very honest and their prices are reasonable. I highly recommend The Garage Total Car Care...
Not all garages will help you to understand what’s going on with your car but here they take the time to make sure you clearly know what is needed. They will send photos or videos to show you their findings. They have been busy but it only means they are trusted and hard working. Affordable for what the vehicle requires yet they have financing to make sure you can get the car fixed. I will continue to have my vehicle serviced with them because genuine mechanics are hard to find. The front office receptionist is friendly and courteous. Thank you Garage. My car is grateful.
It is not often you can find a trustworthy shop to take your vehicle to for any kind of service. The Garage Total Car Care and all their staff are the exception. They are top notch all the way around. Great team! I highly recommend them!!
Manual vehicle. Wouldn't go into gear, just had the clutch replaced months prior. Had it towed to The Garage to diagnose, which they said they were able to drive it just fine somehow. Requested they take a look regardless- they told me it was the clutch and Flywheel. Was skeptical about the flywheel since it's not a component responsible for the application of actually changing gears but agreed to follow the experts. They were courteous enough to both to let me order the parts myself and hold my car in one of their bays for over a week until the parts arrived, which was very accomodating. The day after I ordered the flywheel and clutch they told me I also needed a new slave cylinder. Sure, ordered that too. Week and a day later I drop off the parts, had the wrong slave cylinder, they get me a new one over the weekend. Picked up the car Tuesday. Without running it by me, a tie rod end was replaced and charged for, no big deal but just would have liked to have been asked first. The only issue with that, my steering alignment had never been adjusted to compensate for the new part and was slightly off. Furthermore the clutch pedal felt extremely soft and was getting stuck, figured new parts needed breaking in so I didn't contact them immediately. A few days later after experiencing the issue still I called them asking about the clutch and steering alignment, they got me in for the next afternoon, and I dropped it off. After looking at it, they told me I also need a new clutch master cylinder. It is insane to me that they did all of that work, diagnosed multiple issues on different days, and somehow missed such a crucial component, maybe someone in the shop is a little confused as to what's going on? To top it off, the steering alignment from the part they installed without permission was never fixed. I do not believe their intentions to be malicious towards unknowing customers but rather just a lack of communication or knowledge as to what needs to be done. As far as customer service goes they are great, courteous, and Dina at the front desk definitely tries what she can and is willing to work with you, but just be wary of the work done.
Great Mechanics. Responsize and honest. They take care of me and are one of the few places I will allow to touch my vehicles. Give them a try. They are a small shop so they can take a bit sometimes but, it's worth being patient for the quality work. They won't try and upsell you on things you don't need either.
Great Service, moved the fender forward so we could open the passenger door. reshaped fender and bumper to original shape and corrected wheel well cover. Almost brand new. I am a big fan of Jose and his team.
Dina, the lady at the front desk was great!!! Her and the rest of the crew were able to figure out and fix the tinkering noise my car was making! Highly recommend! Will be using them again in the future!
