We stopped in for an early dinner. The staff was so nice. My husband orders the cod with shrimp and clams. I ordered the cod with 3 shrimp. The coleslaw was delicious. The fish was very good, and the shrimp had a great coating. We orders ablavkberry turnover. I was so full, so I didn't order the funnel fries. I will get those next time. They had clam chowder in a bread bowl. They have a great selection of food and a kids menu. We like that they offer a military discount. When we were leaving, they asked if we wanted to refill our drinks. We can't wait to go back.
Nice and hot fish and shrimp combo. Fish was a bit "fishy," but the shrimp was great!
I asked if I could get my drink ahead of waiting to have it delivered with my meal. My request was treated as if it was weird. Had to ask 3 times, but they finally did. Other than that, it was all OK
The young lady working was so kind and thoughtful! We loved our food and really enjoyed the decor. They have beautiful stained glass! We can’t recommend it enough!
Best clam chowder and hush puppies! Best fried fish in Idaho hands down! Don't know what your missing out on until you try it! Also... Some amazing dipping sauces as well.
I have been a fan of this restaurant for over 20 years. When you walk in, you will not be overwhelmed with decor or ambience, but what you were going to find is amazing seafood at a reasonable price.
This is my first time eating here, since I moved away 10 years ago, and I was delighted to find that, despite new ownership, the food was as good as I remembered. I have traveled all over the country, and their clam chowder is probably the best I have ever had . If you were planning to eat here, I would suggest highly that you add the clam chowder to your order. You will not regret it. I ordered the two piece cod and it came with fries and coleslaw. Everything was fresh and delicious. Our table was clean and staff was quite friendly and helpful! They had made a mistake with one of our orders, and provided us with their dessert turnovers to even everything out and they are the only place that is still making turnovers in the deep fat fryer. I had the BlackBerry, which was delicious and everyone else had the Apple, and they said they were also quite amazing. They said they taste like the apple turnovers used to taste at McDonald's before they decided to be healthy lol!
If you find yourself in Idaho Falls, I highly recommend that you make The Gang Plank one of your lunch or dinner stops. You won't regret it!
This is the place to stop if you are traveling through Idaho falls! The cod, shrimp, and clam chowder were the best I've had in the Intermountain West.
We really enjoyed their fish and chips with waffle cut fries. Their bread bowl with chowder was also a great choice. The crushed ice with their Dr Pepper was really great!!! Thanks for the great seafood in Idaho Falls.
Such delicious seafood!! Nice variety, generous portions, not greasy at all!
Loved the light breading on the shrimp and cod especially.
