A very friendly, tradition style pub. A place to relax and enjoy a pint or a Bladnoch whisky if you fancy as I believe they have the full range to choose from and enjoy.
Literally the best bar so far of my current journey. I don’t think it can be topped and I’ll definitely be coming back over the course of the rest of my stay up here. Friendly, warm and welcoming staff and locals. Felt like a regular after a couple of pints.

Great beer and a very friendly atmosphere
Whilst staying nearby on holiday, myself and my father-in-law wanted to watch our football team Birmingham City on Sky. Last time I was in Galloway, I watched a game there but was unsure if they still screened games. I called in advance and when we arrived, the staff could not have been more friendly and helpful. They found us a table and we watched the match with a few beers. Service was good and the atmosphere (it was a Saturday night) was fun. Covid rules were in place and followed and we had a great and memorable night. We would definitely recommend this bar for visitors to the area.
Would definitely recommend. Great pub great atmosphere, warm fire, dog friendly with a little doggy treat and some water. Staff are very attentive and always up for a chat and a blether. Clean pub good drink selections with the best pint of tennents about in the area. Good mix of all age groups. Sky sports always on pluss 3 different TVs so never miss from any angle. Kid friendly to which is always is great. Would definitely pop in if your are in wigtown.
