This is the best fish and chip shop in Grimsby & Cleethorpes.
It’s a hotly debated topic in this neck of the woods, but to settle it once and for all. The Frying Pan is the best.
After trying loads of other places and being disappointed, I’ve been going here for 3-4 years and it’s consistently amazing. The best freshest fish, perfectly fried in crisp but light batter.
Everything else on the menu is top class too, decent chips, mushy peas and curry sauce.
Staff are friendly and efficient; and the prices are on par with other places.
The queue out the door on a Friday and Saturday is testament to how others feel about this place. My family and friends all agree, The Frying Pan rules.
Try it and you won’t be disappointed.
Quick service even when busy , excellent fish and chips large portions at a reasonable price.
Called after being disappointed at Scartho , on entry there was a long queue, but very quickly arrived at the counter, in no time at all walking out with the order , all 4 of us pleased with quality and size of fish , will use again
Queues ...long..not long to wait though. Last visit fish wasn't as good but it was January. Our favourite chip shop in Waltham.
Always go to The Frying Pan when am in the area. The fish is gorgeous, chips are fluffy. Peas are tasty & all food is always pipping hot . Good service & Friendly staff . ????
The fish and chips here are exceptional and fried to perfection so is the chicken. All the staff are very pleasant and always look smart in their uniform. The service is excellent and inside the shop is spotless 5*
Fish cooked to perfection and lovely mushy peas, the chips where cooked well but too many small ones to give 5 stars sorry.....But great service time and a smiley staff too.
