This has to be the biggest and freshest regular haddock I have ever had.
The fish was amazingly fresh. The batter was light and not greasy and the chips were good, properly cooked and not greasy too.
I highly recommend.
Went tonight as recommended by locals we met in the country park nearby… well I have to say we wasn’t disappointed large fish n chips twice peas n curry sauce n scraps £16.80 I have to say the fish was huge n lovely & white chips were great n no complaints for the sides. We would definitely return & recommend it to anyone.

Dried up chips looks like last week's didn't eat went into the bin. Staff not friendly needs closing down food is not hot or fresh never go back here again

Lovely fish and chips at the Fryer.they always cook to order which is better as it comes straight from the Fryer and not laying about on the warming shelf .I've been coming here for quite a while now and in my opinion this is one of the best fish and chip shops in Grimsby and Cleethorpes. The regular pieces of fish are quite large compared to a lot of other fish and chip shops as its only cooked in a light coating of golden batter.yum yum.
Probably THE best fish and chip in the area. Always a queue, every order done to order. Very friendly family very highly recommended.
Superb as always! Fish is light and flaky, the batter light and crispy. I have had a lot of fish and chips in my life, this place ranks in the top 5 in the country imo. Consistently good food!
It could be a bit unfair giving a 3, the fish and chips were very well cooked. However the oil they were cooking in I assume is vegetable oil. It ,for me leaves and after taste.
