Nice small place casual atmosphere.
Reasonable prices and a simple menu. Just the basics for burgers. Fast service. Great for an affordable lunch. Parking could be an issue but worth the walk if you had to.
I like this location because it has onion rings and fries. The other one just has hamburgers..I like the onion rings fries could use a little flavor.. sorry forgot to take a picture. Burgers was too good.
The employees were EXTREMELY rude
The food was barley edible.
My fries were old and when I asked for fresh ones they practically spit at me.
I also witnessed them yelling at a pair of customers...they were calling the 2 african American gentlemen the ""N" word!
Their employees also smelled like they were digging in hot garbage.
Avoid this place unless you enjoy eating sewage!
My wife and I renamed this place as "The Unfriendly" towards lactose intolerant individuals. I wanted to get a burger without cheese. Told no modifications per company policy. Ordered two hamburgers. No toppings or anything. Both burgers were just pure grease. Save yourself and go to an In N out or another burger joint, especially with horrible parking.
The menu is small but everything is great! One of the best burgers in San Diego, and the price point is unbeatable. No substitutions! The parking lot can get hectic with a few other popular restaurants in the same plaza.
The friendly burgers soothe your soul as you inhale all of the meaty cheesy goodness. They are crafted by the mighty and consumed by the wise.
Best smash style burger in San Diego. Portions are a little small but it makes up for that in greasy flavor.
Last Sunday I hit up the PB location and had an excellent experience thanks to Joe M. This Sunday I showed up to the convoy location with my buddy who's never had a Friendly burger.
The 2 gentlemen working today 01/28/2024 at open were fantastic! Great vibes, fantastic customer service, and a dedication to quality burgers coming off the flat top. This place is the closest by far to my house (5-10 min drive).
Stoked about this lil chain. Hopefully I can get them to open one up in my kitchen
