Super pub. Friendly lady and welcoming Scottish man behind bar. Felt like a real locals place. We were staying in Thirsk visiting from London and popped in after a walk. Dogs galore, some even relaxing on the leather benches. Guys playing darts. Board games and books in corner for children. No food but I love that! Customers all seemed to know each other but acknowledged me and my daughter with a smile. We’re not used to that down South. Lovely!
Turned up and quickly confronted agressively about parking in the wrong place. Taken our cash down the road to another very welcoming pub in thirsk. Sorry you dont welcome visitors to the area by shouting at them for not knowing where to park.
Lovely dog friendly pub (well behaved dog's ????) excellent friendly service. Follow all covid rules so feel safe. Nice cheap meals so can actually afford to go for a drink knowing you have to eat too. Would definitely recommend
Very cozy friendly little pub. First pub i have been to after recently moving up north. The bar staff are very polite. Another plus is this is a dog friendly pub!

The blue cheese tastes like vomit. Very impressed by the vomit taste though. Keep up the good effort.
Just enjoyed a lovely night in here, food good, pizza fab, locals great fun, log guys and friends.... and Dizzy and Luna the Dogs, we be back
