Nice vibrant pub, looked quiet out front.
The bar area had 3 pool tables, big t.v & modern gaming machines.
Has a restaurant area away from the bar. Just popped in for a drink on the way home. we will return.
The menu is purposely limited to make use of local produce and everything is made by their fantastic chef Harriette. Her food is gorgeous and she is fully supported by the bosses Leah and Pete. Well done ????
Phoned Friday the 31st, asked about the breakfast. I was told yes it was starting on Saturday 1st April, my wife and I turned up just after 9, only to be told by the cleaner, that there was nobody there to do the breakfast, definitely won't be going back. Unless they have a very good reason for not being there.
Only went in for a quick coffee. It isn't The Ritz, but seems like a nice community pub, staff are friendly, coffee is nice and prices are reasonable.
First impressions are that it's a little dated. It's a reasonable local pub with plenty of screens to view the latest sport. A few pool tables. The usual restaurant one side, bar the other. Food and drink exceeded expectations, well priced, pleasantly clean. Staff were really nice.
Good selection of roast on Sunday . Are at 2.30 food still hot and NOT dried out like a lot of places when you eat late. Certainly good value for money. New landlord and chef bound to improve further as business gets known better. Certainly worth a visit, I will be going again
Evening meal and it was fantastic. Harriet the head chef comes out personally to make sure you’re happy. So nice from a local pub to get the extra care
Interesting and nice pub variation. Much needed coffee shop in this area.
