Lovely cafe with a nice view over lake offering open air swimming. Reasonably priced tasty food and decent coffee. My 3yo had the children's lunch box with a ham sandwich; the ham was the lovely thick variety that was wasted on her. Plenty of seating and very clean, with a small selection of games. Staff very friendly and will definitely return when we're in the area again.
What a gem of a discovery! The location of The Flying Goose is stunning - peaceful, tranquil and glorious views over the lake. The food was amazing and the chef catered wonderfully for my gluten and dairy free needs as well as providing veggie options for my son. A lovely atmosphere and spotlessly clean too. Now that we’ve found it, we will be back!
Stunning view, friendly waitress, attentive. I only had a coffee, which was 200 degrees, so can’t fault it. Will be back no doubt.

Went to a fantastic evening private function at the Flying Goose Coffee Shop. The buffet was amazing, and the venue was so cozy. I didn't realise you could book the whole place out until I was invited. It's now on my shortlist for future events. I can also recommend the breakfast menu, but that's a topic for another review!
We had an amazing day at the flying goose celebrating the kids bands success. The venue and location was stunning and catered for our needs perfectly. The buffet was exceptional, cetering to all dietary requirements. Highly recommend this venue for parties and gatherings. The staff could not have been more attentive and Rachel and Matt went above and beyond. Thank you
First time for me at this establishment, I was made welcome upon entering, a short discussion regarding my cycle ride to get here, coffee and food served quickly,in lovely surroundings. Nice to be treated human.
We took our two daughters to meet Santa yesterday, this was our 3rd visit to the cafe. They really made it special for children and Santa was incredible. The children got to make Christmas badges and recieved a great gift and a yummy cookie afterwards. Mrs Claus and the elf were lovely too. The whole experience was magical. The kids really enjoyed it, we will be back next year! ☺️
Afterwards, we also had a lovely breakfast in the cafe which is so cosy. Definitely recommend.
