These types of shops are my favorite. Small joints that do food right. Only 1 star off because it was 1pm and they said they didn't have alot of the food I wanted to try after reading about them. So this is your tip to come in early!
Poke was good. Standard Ahi Limu, etc. nothing stood out, but it was delicious.
The Pork Lau Lau was amazing. Salty. Fatty. Don't hesitate to order.
The chicken long rice was kind of plain and forgettable, but that didn't matter with a Lau Lau that good.
No room inside. Smaaaaaaalllll parking lot. You know how it goes.
This place deserves six stars, but I can only give it five because that is the maximum google allows.
First of all, it is local / fisherman owned.
Possibly the best poke I’ve ever had in my entire life. I would choose this as my last meal over everything else in the world.
Your taste buds will be throwing a celebratory party after you eat this delicious food, order anything it’s all phenomenal.
Pro tip if you get your poke bowl to go drive up the road to the sunrise Café and get a coffee to go with it

- Fast in and out! We placed our order and could self serve the toppings a la carte
- The flavor of the poke was great! Not the best I’ve ever had but it was really fresh and tasty and filling
- Good bang for buck
Bad:
- No seating indoors
- It’s a little chaotic and busy while ordering, the service is a bit rushed
Overall I understand why this is so popular!
Their Tuna poke is amazing, even if I don’t usually eat raw fish, staff very friendly and they are suggesting good things to try. A must try is their coconut cake, is fabulous.
It was our first time here so we didn't really know how it worked. Staff could have been a bit more friendly and helpful. Poke was delicious. Toppings are 7.99/lbs additionally. Got a 2 scoop poke with some toppings and paid almost $17 (I think there is an automated service charge included).
Great place with lots of business coming and going. Food is out of this world good. Linda and Eva give some of the best customer service I've had.
Sitting in the car right outside the Fish Express after mopping the BEST poke I have ever had in my life. Loved everything about it. From the sushi rice, to the fresh poke, to the toppings bar, and the service. The poke on Maui has to step it up now, I have a new standard ????
