Great meal in a lovely location. Food was excellent and served by friendly staff.
Great Italian food. Best for miles around. Great restaurant and staff and excellent views too.
We booked a table for 5pm on Wednesday 31st July for a teenager’s birthday meal. Guests waited from 16:50 until 17:15 whilst the restaurant remained closed without any notice.
Excited children stood in the car park in the pouring rain and despite catching the attention of a member of staff behind the window they ignored our presence for over a quarter of an hour after opening time before we left without any choice.
Great customer service. I wonder if this is how Mr Pillitreri would wish to commence his birthday celebration. The Palazzo in Burnley were very accommodating.

Service was slow, ordered mild curry and it was very very spicy ... more than one other person in the group ordered and both said spicier than mild... sticky toffee pudding yum!
Visited The Fighting Cocks with 9 family/friends, from walking through the door when we arrived the friendly greeting from the owner and staff set the atmosphere for the night, you had the feeling that nothing was to much trouble for the staff and that they wanted you to enjoy the experience.
We did not feel under any pressure to order food as you do in some establishments. When the order was taken from the extensive menu it was only a short time until the food was served with everyone receiving their food at the same time which was well presented and hot.
The food itself was a dining experience in itself with every dish presented being of good quality and full of flavour.

The food was good, as usual, but the service was shocking. We had booked a table for 7.30 but weren't seated until 8.15, despite asking twice and we weren't served until 9.00. The waiters were pleasant but there clearly was not enough staff to allow them to do their job competently. They barely had time to speak to us and they were nowhere to be seen when we wanted to order more drinks. I shan't be returning until the staffing problems are sorted out.
