Recently stayed in Budleigh Salterton and the Feathers became our local. Very welcoming staff, an interesting selection of drinks and wonderful food! Ate there on three nights and had something different each time. All beautifully cooked and very well priced.
Lovely veggie meal today, battered halloumi, chips and peas. (We both selected the small meal option) Other good veggie choices too, plus pub classics. Will definitely return when in the area.

Didn't eat here, just enjoyed a drink. Nice selection of beers and the lady behind the bar was excellent. The pub itself was a bit dark and uninspiring, but overall enjoyed our visit.
Beer and crisps, fine, but if I hadn't already made my mind up not to eat there, then watching one of the chefs walk straight from the urinal out of the loos without going via the sinks and hand dryers would have been enough. Interesting clientele and seemingly 24 hour football on the TV
Down to earth proper pub food: very nice! I regret not checking out vegetarian or other options, as it would be pleasant for revisit with others. Ale well served apparently - I was on shandy :( . Car parking a bit away, so drop off your less mobile folk at the door.
First timer at the pub. Went for the music ????. Great vibe, lovely staff, super atmosphere, very reasonable drink price's. We'll be back. Well worth a visit.
Great selection of drinks, nice pub atmosphere with a mixture of locals and tourists. They stop serving food at 2ish, a few people including us were caught out.
Lovely ambiance, super friendly and helpful staff, beautiful food and joyous ale...thank you ????
