Don't go if you are hungry???????? Simply fab bread, cakes and deli rolls.My favourite is the Cheese & Chili Sourdough.Get in early before it's all gone.

This time we went to Peebles because we found out about this bakery by face book. Enjoyed several bakery products worth the trip. My favorite was this Focaccia.

OMG! We went here today for some bread and found out they also make bagels. My husband is from NYC and a woman in line overheard us talking who was from Long Island. Lucky she heard our accent because she told us they also make bagels and she said they were excellent. We bought 2 and we just had them. I came home and made jalapeno cream cheese (just like at Murrey's Bagels in NY). Wow! the bagels were delicious! We are now going to be buying those all the time. Of course their chilli croissants are also amazing! Everything here is 5 star quality. So happy we live not too far from this little gem of a bakery!

Fine artisan and craft bakers, off main street. Delightful young lady in charge, enjoyed the banter as well as the products.

Sadly no whisky cake, but still five stars.

(Not the one star I threatened jokingly). Worth seeking out.

Just had the sausage rolls, but they were awesome. The taste of the pastry was just right very flavoursome. Welcoming, helpful, friendly staff.

The best sourdough baker in the Borders and surrounding areas (IMO and judging by the queue that’s usually at the door). He’s only open 3 days a week so I buy several loaves and put them in the freezer. Cakes and pastries are delicious - I’ve never bought anything from the Fat Batard that I haven’t enjoyed. Only problem is choosing and I usually come away with more than I intended ????

Superb sourdough bread and sweet treats, I can't wait to visit again. Staff were also really friendly and helpful. Definitely worth a visit!

Pure quality. From the breads through to the sweet treats every single item looks absolutely amazing and tastes every bit as good as it looks. The time and effort put into every product really shows and there are always new things to tempt us. This place is a real wee gem!
