Been going here for years. Came in today and notified two gentlemen working there that I was waiting for Yen. However, I was notified that she was on her break at the moment, which I had no problem with of course and proceeded to wait. As 30 minutes had gone by, which was completely fine, I needed to use the restroom. When I decided to quickly use the restroom, I notified the gentlemen that I would be using the restroom real quick and I will be right back. Keep in mind, I had showed up 20-30 minutes prior before the gentlemen that was seated and waited while there were open chairs. I was gone for maybe 2 minutes and returned to find a customer in the chair, which I was told was for me and would be held. When I brought it up, the gentlemen replied with a very very vague response and no one said a word. Brutal customer service.
This place is great. I always get my hair cut here they do a great job. I took my 2 year old son and the barber was very patient. I asked if he could give my 4 year old daughter a trim and he did. Was very patient and did a fantastic job for both. Highly recommend!
1 star for great customer service on phone when I called with questions. Left review at 1 star when I arrived only for my son and me to be greeted with a scowl, sneer, and shaking head. No one wants their or their son's hair cut by someone with a nasty attitude. Plenty of other choices where we can spend our money, and tip well.
Can’t say enough good things about this place. Brought my 2 year old son here and they couldn’t have been more patient and kind with him, gave him an amazing haircut. Will be a regular!
Jackie I believe her name is, cut and styled my hair to perfection. I came in during the last week of August and I called ahead of time to make sure there wasn’t any appointment necessary. When I walked in an hour later there wasn’t a long wait time & Jackie took her time making sure the style I wanted was what she was envisioning as well . We had an easy going conversation that made me feel I was being taken care of . A simple cut isn’t as simple as it seems and Jackie takes pride in being a barber helping out the best way she can and I will be back every time I need a fresh fade now !
I have been eXtremely pleased with the service. When I moved back to the area in 2018 I was in need of a new barbershop. The American Barbershop at Stonewall was recommended. My first visit there and I had my haircut by Mack. I have been using him ever since. My fiancé only wants my haircut done by Mack so he has always been my go to there.
I took my three young boys there today for the first time on a whim. Lightning fast service with amazing quality! I got a straight shave on my head and face too and couldn't be happier. We've found our go-to barber shop. Thanks a lot!
