The best breakfast. Well worth it. We got the eggs benedict which is a family favorite. Food is so good and well put together. To go or eating in is always a great experience. This location is WAY BETTER than the one on South Duval Street. Never go to the egg cafe by the capitol. This location is by far better on all fronts. This location is also slightly cheaper, far better food, better service. 10/10.
Solid 4 stars here. First and foremost, I went on a Saturday and got seated for a party of 2 within 10 to 15 minutes even though it was packed! The atmosphere appeared to be cozy, but given the massive parties and how busy it was, it felt more like a bussling cafe.
In terms of food, I got a basic breakfast of eggs, potatoes, toast, bacon, and coffee. Everything was prepared well. The only complaint I'd have is that the potatoes lacked flavor and almost seemed frozen. Nonetheless I hope to come back and try other foods!
Bonus: The mugs at the Egg are ceramic and beautiful. Definitely plan to purchase one at some point!
Best breakfast we've had in a while. Ordered a full order of beignets- half Cinnamon with a orange marmalade sauce and powdered sugar with apple butter. We split an order of eggs Benedict with green onions and potatoes. Amazing.

Everyone in our party loved everything ordered......banana fosters french toast.....bacon avocado ???? omelet.....loaded grits.....beignets......bloody mary......AMAZING.

Overpriced, mediocre food with very poor customer service. Showed up and had to wait eight minutes before anyone offered to seat me or hand me a menu. Took an additional 20 minutes for the food the be prepared. Keep in mind these were breakfast dishes that should take less than five minutes to prepare. when the food finally arrived, it was luke-warm and poorly seasoned. Poor quality food. Poor quality customer service. At high prices. Would rate 0 if possible.
Not a bad place - I wish they did something more than just having frozen potatoes then just putting them on the plate, you could add maybe old bay ? Or some onions? Just some love haha
Got in early. Nice atmosphere. Plenty of space between tables... so you do not have that closed in feeling.
Was greeted with a smile and asked where I wanted to sit? Pleasant surprise. Sat at table by the window. Good view.
My young waiter was on week 2! Very polite, upfront and friendly!
I asked for recommendations and were given his best opinion! Turned out he made and Excellent offer for breakfast.
I had the eggs Benedict with the sausage with a side of bacon!
Meal was Outstanding!

Came in after we had a couple of tornados before Mother’s Day weekend. Our server Andrew was awesome and appreciated our patience. After being without power for days it was nice to sit down and have a nice meal. Give that man a raise. Great service.
