I visited this dinner for dinner and got a blue cheese bacon burger and my partner got the soup of the day. I had never tried blue cheese on a burger and was nicely surprised at how delicious it was. The blue cheese is a bit tangy and goes well with the fattiness of the bacon. It was a big burger, too so I took the leftovers for home.
Our server was friendly and made a lot of conversation with us. The service was fast and we got our food in about 10 minutes. The diner is themed after Thomas Edison, and they have a huge mural of him, so it gave the diner a quirky theme.
I dined in here at around 8:40 PM on 3/19/24 and was pleasantly greeted as I walked in and seated immediately. I spent $27 + tip for a deluxe Malibu bacon burger and a vanilla malted shake. The location of the establishment is nice as it is along the US-1 highway and there were many spaces in the parking lot. Our waitress very attentive, gave us refills, and even asked if we would like lemons with our water. The ambiance of the restaurant gave me an old comfy vibe as I waited for my food.
As for a review of the food and drink itself: the burger was cooked to my preferred temperature of medium-rare, had fresh and crispy vegetables and fries, as well as perfectly cooked thick slices of bacon that were neither too crispy nor chewy. The only complaint I would have for the burger would be the bottom bun becoming too soggy after a couple of bites, but nonetheless, the burger was tasty. The milkshake had a classic taste, the sprinkles and whipped cream blended together with the shake nicely, and it was light and frothy. I would recommend this restaurant to anyone who happens to pass by.
The Edison Diner is an extremely solid diner. You definitely get your moneys worth and the food is great. The service was good and the food came out rather fast. The menu is very overwhelming and took a while to tackle, but that's just one of the pros about this place. The French toast is extremely thick and quite good. My buddy got the veal parmesan, and I couldn't stop staring at it. Unfathomable amount of cheese, looked absolutely amazing. Also a surprisingly large portion. It is hard to imagine anyone could be disappointed by this place. It has a lot of food and it does it all well. I also thought it was funny that they had Frasier on the TV. Never seen the show, but I've heard good things.
Order take out. Order extra fries w/ gravy
Only gave gravy. Ordered sweet potatoes fries, got regular fries.
Triple Scampi Pasta looks old and dried out. No seasoning Very yellowish. Salad looked better. Paid for more than we ordered . Not satisfied at all. Not worth $34. 2 shrimp, 3 pieces of chicken, and 3 scallops and a big box of "pasta". The takeout waiter didn't listen to our Order and we came home with less than paid for.
The place is absolutely hoppin’ n lively, felt like inside a party cruise!!
Service is awesome, we were promptly seated and orders taken quickly.
Huge servings!! Love the Flounder Filet sandwich and Philly Cheesesteak. Perfect with fresh coffee!
Place gets packed during peak hours, we recommend getting here early or come after 9pm to avoid the rush.
The food is okay-ish. We ordered Greek burger, Red velvet pan cakes, Mozarilla sticks, wraps.
They are a bit dry. But the taste is okay.
I love the food here and we didn’t have any complaints. The place is crowded and there will be a wait time. I will surely recommend this dinner to my friends.
We were in and out of there within an hour, and it was jam packed. Service was good, food is normal diner food but with a more elegant twist.
