Great meal tonight, couldn't fault anything. Homemade mushroom soup with the best garlic bread! Delicious burgers, perfect homemade chips, onion rings and coleslaw! We will definitely return!
Stayed here in our motorhome, free if you dine in the pub. Great welcome very friendly staff and locals. Lovely pint of theakstons. Food was excellent both had steak cooked really well exactly as we wanted it, excellent value for money ????????
Had a lovely stay here for NYE. The food was excellent, the service even better. Extremely friendly staff who couldn't have been more accommodating. The rooms were really nice. Would definitely come back.
Four of us at here last night , we all highly recommend . The Diane sauce for the steak was the best i’ve ever had . Very reasonably priced for the quality of food , can’t wait to return!
Just had a really nice meal here, the triple cooked chips were the best I’ve had anywhere, lovely smash burger with delicious homemade coleslaw. Really couldn’t fault it.
A nice place to stay and eat. Everyone was really friendly and accommodating, and we were really impressed with the food we had the evening we arrived (my son said he had the best burger he’s ever had, and my steak was cooked perfectly). The room was clean and comfortable, and the shower was nice and hot. The only things missing were bath towels (we only had hand towels), Wi-Fi in the room (we could only get it in the pub) and some milk to go with the teabags.
One of the nicest and most reasonably priced pubs we've been in!
Extra parking and a small play field out the back they also provide overnight parking for campers and I think they're looking to expand on that.
We had a gorgeous lasagna and chips for dinner, nice wine and a great cooked breakfast in the morning!
The staff were super friendly and very helpful and great with my toddler.
They've got TV, Pool table and table football too and even a kiddies pool table so little legs can have a go too.
If you're in the area or looking for somewhere to stop the night then definitely stop here!
Highly recommend ????!
Just spent a two night stay in this little gem.
We stayed in the double room it was very comfortable and was well equipped.
The food was fantastic and the staff were very friendly, great atmosphere in the bar which is dog friendly, looking forward to our next trip.
Gordon and Angela Mclean.
