Best KPortal Reviews
Not the best ale I have had, at £5 a go, we both tried different Ales and found nothing we liked. One of them, Polly's, was like driving thick orange juice worst pint in a long time. Would say most of the ales are "trendy" aimed at men with groomed beards and silly top knots. Must be getting old. We moved on to the Royal Oak and had some great real ales there.
Loved it. Great quiz, nice atmosphere and friendly service. Beer was also good!
Probably the best craft beer spot in Wrexham ????

Wow this place was amazing. I was visiting my home town Wrexham the day after St David's and I found this place by chance. I was passing the Overton Arcade and I noticed Bavarian Bunting at the end. As this has been a good indicator of decent ales in decent pubs In the past I was very intrigued and gave it a look. I was not disappointed. I went in there was a lovely and friendly dog called Ifor who greeted me. The beer selection was superb, proper ales including Wrexham Lager which suited me perfectly. I was even more impressed to see that they were playing Wrexham AFC vs Accrington Stanley on screen. I asked how long the place had been open, they said 3 years. Had this place been open when I was still living in Wrexham, it would have been my favourite watering hole. I was settled in nicely and the atmosphere was very friendly and cosy. At one point Wrexham was winning and then Dakota by the Stereophonics was playing, all this a day after St David's Day, this was superb and made my weekend vist perfect. I will return. I would advise anyone visiting Wrexham to visit this pub, although I hope it doesn't become too popular, as I want to get in when I return.
Cracking wee craft bar tucked down an old arcade.
Great service with full knowledge of the beers on sale.
3 new breweries ticked off for me
Easily the worst pint Ive ever had. If I was the owner of Tiny Rebel I wouldn’t sell them a barrel again. Absolute clueless.
Great little place, pool table upstairs. Nice selection of weird beers.
A little gem of a place! A fantastic selection of craft beers that can be enjoyed in a brilliant atmosphere. Will definitely be going again!
