Best KPortal Reviews

We had a great breakfast and an amazing cheesecake, both good value. Staff were lovely and the resident dog Alfie is so sweet
Lovely welcome from Alfie the doggy, our dog Poppy accommodated downstairs next to the fireplace. Lovely coffee and tea with mini breakfast, eggs Benedict and scrambled eggs for the kids, 6 and 9.
Lots of locals in a relaxed atmosphere with ample parking outside.
Lovely cafe style restaurant. Menu is filled with homemade classics along with chef specials. Staff are super friendly and cheerful. If you go, say hello to the local dog ‘Alfie’ and give him a pet (he loves it!)
Me and my husband had an amazing drovers special breakfast. It was that good we had take away home made cakes. Coffee sponge and raspberry cheese cake, best cakes we've had in ages. Had a good oid yarn with the owner too. Cracking cafe awesome food and great friendly staff, wish it was our local. ❤️
REVIEW: The Drovers Cafe & Restaurant, High Street, Builth Wells
Nice establishment in a building with history. Very friendly and polite staff, plus a courtyard area. I had scrambled egg on toast with a mug of tea. The toast was nice made from seeded bread and the egg was.scrambled well, not too dry or wet. Nice cuppa too.
Can't fault the price or service. Out of 10 it gets a 9 (table was a bit wobbly, but other than that no issues)
My friend had a coffee, but think a bird flying overhead may have deposited a little something ????
There was also a dog at The Drovers, friendly thing, same goes for the birds too!
What a gem of a place to find. Especially after driving 4 hrs through the heart of the stunning Welsh countryside from Holyhead from 0530. The Ultimate Drover fry really hit the spot. This place is as Quaint as gets. Thank God, places with heart and soul like this still exist.
We stumbled across the garden at Drovers Tea Rooms, and what a find! The garden is beautiful!
We had some coffees (shame it’s machine coffee, but still tasty), and some of the most scrumptious cakes I’ve had for a while, all locally baked, absolutely delicious!
Definitely worth a visit, the staff were nice, service was quick (it was quiet when we were there), and the setting was idilic!
What a delight. Stopped for lunch on my way from Somerset to Porthmadoc.
Lovely drive either side of Builth Wells and this little gem in the middle.
Just perfect
