Great home cooked food and friendly staff in the heart of Shrewsbury, plenty of choices on the menu.
Reasonably priced.
Stopped in for lunch on Saturday, lovely food, cooked well and excellent prices. I had Roast Turkey and my husband had Fish and Chips, both really tasty. Definitely recommend.
A lovely find for food in Shrewsbury. The young waitress was so lovely, excellent service. The food was first class, especially the Haddock. All cooked fresh. Great price and value for money.
After two other tries - one place closed and another too busy, I turned to the Draycott as 'old reliable'. We were hungry by now and needed a 'cuppa' and a bite. The tea was excellent. Fish and chips good value. Quiet place with friendly service.
Once seated a member of staff will come and take your order. My food arrived quickly after ordering and was good portions and very nice. The restaurant is spacious and very clean. Would definitely not hesitate to recommend.
I had a fried breakfast here, quite disappointing especially for the price - the larger 'Drayton' breakfast comes with tomato (half a fried tomato) and mushrooms (two quarters of a mushroom) as well as poor quality sausages and very salty but generously sized bacon. Strangely it didn't come with toast, just a large portion of chips, which admittedly were pretty good. For the price, I would have expected tea/coffee included, but that is an extra £2. The staff seemed nice enough though
Brilliant lunch at The Drayton, there were four of us, we all had fish, chips and mushy peas priced at £10.45 and it was lovely, fish was freshly cooked, quick efficient service, bonus was its dog friendly, we highly recommend it.
A very nice roast dinner. It was lovely to have proper roasted turkey rather than the processed meat some places serve up. Nice courteous staff.
