MOST EXCELLENT DIVE BAR! I love this place! My daughter in law and her husband introduced me to this place for the first time this past weekend. I wish I lived closer so that I could go here more frequently.
GREAT selection of beer, liquor and other drinks. The decor/atmosphere is excellent! Inside space is very welcoming and comfortable. Lots of outside seating (but it was really cold the night we were there so we stayed inside).
Bartender was nice and helpful.
Looks like they have all kinds of events all the time --- something for everybody.
I WILL BE BACK!
Great late night spot to catch live music or even participate in karaoke. Drinks a priced very well and every time I’m in town I try to come visit and enjoy the crowd.
Great little dive bar. I came here on a Sunday karaoke night. Started out at 10 pretty slow but as the night went on the place got pretty hopping. A lot of fun and the locals talked to me as a regular. The only miniscule down point was the the bartenders didn't rinse out the mixing shaker cups after each cocktail they made but I didn't deduct points for that because it was pretty busy. All in all I would come back when visiting again.
True dive bar spirit with a deluxe offering of liquors. Admire the whiskey shrine set in a former organ or take in the walls of stickers, lights and other festive paraphernalia. We loved the music and lighting. If you’re looking for a cozy dive set downtown this is your spot!
Had an amazing time. Initially reluctant based on some pics, but that doesn't always tell the whole story. Atmosphere was very relaxed and mellow with a DJ playing jazz on vinyl so the records sounded cool and vintage. Staff and patrons were friendly. Will be back.
I was walking past this joint and heard some amazing music, so wandered in to find myself in a happy, vibrant neighborhood bar with an amazing blues musician (The Blue Ridge Boy) then stayed for the astounding, super hot Firecracker Jazz Band!! I will definitely return!!
buford is the most amazing and beautiful door man ive ever experienced. make sure carl is the bartender bc he makes the best green teas shots, havent had a better.
Awesome spot hidden in west asheville! Loved the decor and music. Plenty of outdoor seating and inside as well. Definitely bring your friends!
