A great bar serving some excellent beers, plenty of choice to suit everybody's taste. Friendly staff, clean facilities and a nice atmosphere. Quiet during the day but busier on an evening.
Absolutely splendid place to spend an afternoon / evening / night. A good choice of ales and craft beers. The staff are super friendly. Plenty of cosy areas to sit and there’s an upstairs room to sit or hire for events. The decor is unique, the owner has spent some time painting song lyrics and the science behind brewing over the walls and it’s fun to hear different people trying to place the since lyrics with the song and interesting to learn what goes into making your beers.
10/10 would recommend and it’s a place I’ll visit every time I come to Selby.
Beautiful craft beer cafe.. the decor is so creative and there is not a part of the cafe that wouldn’t catch your eye.

Quiet, quirky bar in Georgian style terraced house in Selby. Walls uniquely decorated in humorous fashion. Had the upstairs to my self. Decent gents. Eclectic range of beers including a number of house beers brewed on the premises. Plus a number of other local real ales. Didn't try the phone though plenty of others were happy chowing down. The "challenge" items with extreme chilli looked intriguing....

Wow. A definite place to visit if visiting Selby. Loved it the variety of ale's on offer and the amazing interior. Would certainly return if in the area again
Just had my granddaughter’s first birthday upstairs at the Dog house and the food was amazing. Pizza, Chips, salad and garlic bread. Delicious!! Constance flow of fresh food too. Thank you so much staff, we will be back! Us from Bristol & Herefordshire
I loved the interior but it's so small inside there's no where to sit.
We sat on 2 stools at the bar but we just felt like we were in everyone's way.
The bar staff were constantly wanting to get past so we left after one drink and went back to the George.
Its also very very expensive!!
