The service was great, and the food was as well. My grandmother who is super picky, can’t wait to go back for more of the baked beans and wings. The plates were tasty and a great portion of food. We had “The Dirty Pig” and “The Dirty Burg”. The pork BBQ was tasty, but seemed on the small side compared to the ground beef on the “Burg”. The pork was on a bed of baked beans, that were on the sweet side. If you don’t like sweet, ask them for a sample. They were very good regardless. The “Burg” was soooo good. The macaroni salad has just the right amount of crisp and tart, that it complimented the well cooked burger patty it was topped with. And the dirty sauce is banging! Be forewarned it’s a little spicy. Not horrible, but if you aren’t expecting it, it could get you. The wings were ordered plain, and bone in. They were crispy, and large, and better than most that’s for sure. They have a stellar line up of wing sauces and rubs, and offer a special sauce of the week, drink, and food specials. We will be back.
Cool looking place inside, but bit it stops there...First, extremely slow service was the first problem. It took 15 mins to even be greeted by our waiter. There were plenty of wait staff, but some were arguing over which tables to take at the hostess station?
Second, I got the dirty tenders and the whole plate was swimming in sauce. I couldn't taste anything except the "Buffalo Soldier" sauce which wasn't that great, either. My plate was cold when it was brought out, it's almost like they had it sitting and just tried to refresh it with more sauce and a microwave. My wife also got the dirty tenders with sweet BBQ and just her tenders had sauce, like normal, and the Mac and cheese and potatoes were not sauced.
Finally, the waiter was extremely slow, never offered refills, and said he would see what he could do about my meal when I mentioned to him I couldn't enjoy it due to so much sauce. Nothing was ever done, and I was charged full price. At this point we had been waiting forever with 2 kids for their to go containers and our check, and I didn't feel like staying there any longer.
I have to say the one we visited in Aug 2023 in Norfolk was a million times better!
Cmon dirty buffalo! What happened to you? Second time ordering here in the last 2 months and won't be back. I remember when the wings were juicy, crunchy, and had a lot of sauce on them. The last two times have been extremely disappointing. The mac and cheese was also super dry. I come here because i loved you guys' wings, no one did it better and everything on the menu used to be amazing. But, wont return after tonight. I feel robbed of my money. Shame man, shame. Amazing Wings! We had a great lunch, and not many people around noon.
Three of us stopped in for a light dinner on a Sunday night. It was fairly busy, but we had to wait a couple of minutes to be seated. Not much of a problem except there's not much standing room at the hostess stand. We had to constantly move around to let traffic bypass. The overall feel of the restaurant felt disorganized and dirty. It was in need of detailed cleaning. The tables and floors were on the sticky side. The men's room was in desperate need of attention. There's tvs on the walls surrounding the whole restaurant broadcasting sports. There's a hightop bar area, dining room, and game area. It's very family-friendly. The staff was friendly and polite. The food and pricing were average. I was told by a member of our group that the burger was just OK and overpriced for quality. The burgers are served well done. I had the 10 piece bone in wings split with the Korean BBQ sauce and the teriyaki sauce. They were crispy, flavorful, and meaty. I was told that the spicy BBQ wings were good. It is an extra fee for celery and ranch dressing. The cocktails were just OK. Your best bet here is to order beer and wings. Be prepared to get messy. Also, be prepared to pay an extra 2% service fee for non cash payments.
So I ordered from DoorDash and called the store and apparently this is the standard when you order onion rings according to the manager. Poor quality for people to be spending their money at this establishment! Insanely terrible!
Came here for a Monday lunch for a firstime visit. Not many patrons. Ordered 10 bone-in wings. 5 spicy buffalo Parm, and 5 garlic lemon pepper and a side of tater tots. Food came quick. The wings were served hot out of the fryer! Nice and crispy, but juicy inside. The garlic lemon pepper is a dry rub and the crisp help up throughout. But the Buffalo Parm was a sauce and kind of killed some of the crispiness - expected. Wings were really good. Anytime u can get them served piping hot is always a bonus!
Moved our daughter to VA Beach this weekend and needed to grab lunch before heading home. Husband wanted wings, and found Dirty Buffalo. Monday afternoon around 1-1:30 I guess. We were seated and waited on right away. We got the appetizer platter (don’t remember the exact name). It came with spicy popcorn chicken, pizza logs, and poor man wings (fries). We did the garlic parm for the poor man wings and they were delicious! Pizza logs and popcorn chicken were good too. As for our meal, daughter got the “outsiders” boneless wings (garlic parm/Cajun rub). She said they were good. Between my husband and I we had bone-in wings - teriyaki, old bay, and maui wowie. Great wings… cooked well, plenty of sauce and dry rub in them. Really enjoyed them. Sides… we got Mac and cheese (was just ok) and dirty fries (chili on them was ok, but the cheese was weird). Service was a little slow, but we weren’t in a rush at all so not a big deal! All in all, it was a pretty good meal… I think they were actually the best wings I’ve had in quite some time. We are looking forward to visiting our daughter again so we can try some more wings! I forgot to get app pics, sorry!
