Amazing place! My partner took me here for a night away for my birthday and everything about it was amazing! The food is outstanding!! Not like “ normal “ pub grub ! the room was spotless with a comfy bed , every member of staff was very welcoming and friendly. Nothing was to much trouble! Will definitely be back ! ????????☺️
We booked last minute for dinner whilst on holiday, the food and service did not disappoint. Absolutely outstanding meals would highly recommend for anyone looking for pub food but extremely well cooked, presented & priced. Well done ????????
It you want brilliant local food, good prices and a lively atmosphere this your place. A real authentic experience coming here. 1Would highly recommdned
What can I say, me and my wife stayed here last night for early valentines, we were both greeted by the owner Sam, amazing host, rooms very clean and fresh and spotless. All the staff couldn't do enough for us, we has special treatment served drink to our table, never waited forna drink, food what can I say it should be a Michelle star, a must try is the 10oz pork rib eye, and the smash ???? Yummy.... it was very busy and it should be a 5star as that was the way they treated us like royalty. Morning after an amazing sleep, and hang over was cured by the breakfast. Top quality ingredients locally produced fine dinning. See u in the summer guys for the garden party xxxx
We didn't stay, but we ate as a family in the bar area. Excellent choices on the specials board and on the menu. A bit more upmarket than the usual pub grub and very tasty indeed. Useful off road parking and a lovely, large pub garden and outdoors bar for sunny evenings.
Friendly and pleasant service, the food we had was out of this world. Nice and relaxed atmosphere.Thank you chef & team at the Dial Inn ♥️????????????????????????????
The food was very tasty and staff were very friendly and accommodating. Recommended and would love to go back!
We booked our table 2 days in advance for a Sunday roast at The Dial at 2pm. On arrival we were told they'd run out of beef , very disappointing. Other diners told us they'd run out of beef much earlier. Everyone in the restaurant had booked a table so they should have been prepared. We accepted an alternative & ordered drinks & water. 15 mins later I had to go to the bar & get the drinks myself. 45 mins later our meals arrived......minus the Yorkshire puddings...they'd run out of them too!! As for the meat ..it was ok. As for the vegetables..we couldn't get a fork into the roast potatoes, we had 1 thin sliver of burnt parsnip each, 1 slice of carrot each, a small dish of peas with a few shreds of cabbage, & a small dish of creamed leeks ( more cream than leek!) to share between 3 people! We complained to one of the waitress's who was disinterested to the point of shrugging her shoulders as she walked away. We then asked to speak to the manager, who turned out to be another waitress. We waited for our bill for 15 mins before taking our drinks into the garden. Eventually my husband had to go back inside to pay our bill, & gratefully we received a discount on our drinks, which was something, but we will definitely not recommend The Dial to anyone..there are plenty of other great restaurants in this lovely area, tried & tested to give great service & far better quality Sunday roasts. FYI be very careful if you're coeliac..even if they'd had Yorkshire pudding they would not have been able to provide gluten free for one of our party.
