First time here, and it was great. Service was amazing. The atmosphere was chill and beautiful. Everyone is polite and helpful. The food was delicious, had the Drunken Angel pasta, delicious, I've never had anything like it. Also had the kool-aid pickles, also great. Overall amazing experience. Will return to try some stuff I didn't get to this time like drinks and dessert.
Good southern food but the collard greens were a bit on the salty side. The atmosphere and restaurant is excellent and well kept. I had the birria quesarita burger (not a real burger but more of a large birria taco inside hamburger bun) and I would say that I did like the fried cheese inside that burger but there was just too much of it in my opinion, my son had a cheeseburger that was very good, My wife had the seafood gumbo and was also good. We had some tater tots as well that were quite good as well. Everything was served to us hot and quick. The wait staff was very friendly and I'm guessing who was the manager was also very friendly. I love the atmosphere and decor at this restaurant. You should check it out if you're in the area If you like some unique and good tasting southern food mainly Southern Louisiana style. We'll be back to try the jambalaya and the spicy chicken sandwich as well as other dishes to include the desserts.
Excellent spot that my partner and I ended up in after a few other dinner ideas fell through.
The food was phenomenal and absolutely felt like the kind of thing you can't get anywhere else. Anytime an appetizer menu goes beyond simple things you see anywhere, you know you're in for a good time.
Our waitress was kind and personable, and overall the place had a wonderful vibe for a Saturday night dinner.
Absolutely intending to go back next time I'm in the area.
I am always in a search of a good birria and I found one in Tucson that is called a quesabirria burger -it's queso(cheese),birria but as a burger and not the traditional taco. It even came with a consomme (birria broth)!
They also have one of the best cornbreads I've ever had that I ordered another one to bring back to Seattle. Their jambalaya, bread pudding and *addicting* rosemary, bacon and caramel popcorn don't fail either. Their popcorn alone makes me wish I work here for a short bit just so I will learn their recipe.LOL! jk
We thoroughly enjoyed our meal, drinks and ambiance this evening at the Delta. Our wonderfully attentive and friendly server was Victoria. The food is always superb, so flavorful and delicious. We would highly recommend this amazing gem downtown.
This restaurant is one of best in Tucson. You won't see white table clothes here but, the chef is a culinary star. We had the Drunken Angel hair pasta and the Dr. pepper marinated Tri Tip. Both were amazing. The price for two with drinks and an appetizer was in the $$$.$$ range but I assure you you will not be disappointed.
Cute and fun restaurant near downtown Tucson serving elevated Southern comfort food.
Cherry Kool-Aid Pickles were a very unique experience, tangy, spicy and sweet!
Pimento Cheese Dip was tasty with the buttered Saltine crackers.
Dr. Pepper Tri Tip was incredible, super tender, had a delicious rub on it, the fingerling potatoes were also tender and very tasty.
Beef Tartare was flavorful and filling.
Service was great; attentive and charming personalities.
Atmosphere is interesting, a combination of Southern, Cajun, and like new age hipster.
8/10
Great vibe, killer DJ, some of the best decor I’ve seen in a restaurant, and a unique menu that was both playful and delicious! Highly recommend the cherry kool-aid pickles! Also, if they have it, don’t miss the alligator burger - it’s the best I’ve ever had!
