Went for Sunday Lunch, 3 size options available Adult, OAP and kids. Large, medium and small appetites. Prices very competitive. The meals were extremely good and chose of 3 meat options. Would definitely recommend the food. The pub atmosphere was friendly and the service excellent. Very large outside area's both covered and uncovered.

We've come to live in Askern and the landlord and landlady have welcomed us every time we've arrived there at teatime. The whole staff have made us feel so special. Come on if you're like us over 60, 70 or more you will be made to feel so special so, come on give it a try, we're new here and absolutely love it here, especially teatime. . Try it we cannot recommend it more. Thank you to All the staff who make us feel great. ♥️♥️
We had our wedding reception here, the staff were extremely attentive and helped with every need, I cant thank them enough for everything they have done
Not a bad spot. Staff very good. Shame no real ale or at least a decent beer on the bar. John Smiths isn't beer lol ????
Very good place for drinking staff are friendly. Open till late. 5 out of 5 what else can one say
Only small pub . But so cosy . Massive telly. Dart board and pool /snooker table. Across from askern lake . Had sunday dinner ..was absolutely gorgeous . Home made yorkie puds and roast spuds . Deffo go again X not overpriced .really enjoyed it . Staff friendly x
Was there with the Pool team on Thursday night. Had a great time with everyone. Few drinks went down nicely as well
