Fantastic evening we rented out part of the pub privately we had bar staff looking after us they where so so helpful we asked they just did it nothing was a problem
Was just passing, but best pint of Doombar I've ever had and fair prices.

Amazing pub! We have visited this pub several times and the landlord and staff have always been really welcoming. The drinks and snacks are very reasonably priced and it is so nice to sit next to the river and watch the world go by
Called in on a hot evening for a cold cider , good atmosphere and friendly service.
Dog friendly, limited real ale selection but what they have is kept well, friendly bunch of customers.
A rare thing,a traditional local pub,open fire ???? ,great prices,I can't understand why more local residents don't use,so many pubs have disappeared,people need to stop drinking alone at home and use their local pub!
