Great pub, very friendly staff, they give everyone a warm welcome and a smile. Reasonably priced pints for the local area. Live music regularly, karaoke once a month. Drinks promotion during the week, what's not to love.
Good local pub. Have had a good few games of pool here with friends. Staff are friendly and welcoming and drinks are well priced
Reasonably priced sports bar, now under new management. Stopped doing food, but prices and beer has improved. Now trying to sort the cosmetics of the pub out.
Me and two friends came here because we booked a cheap hotel and these people were absolutely lovely! Treated us very well. If ever in area again, we'll return back here. Bloke behind the bar was nice and lady helped us stay covid safe when we asked for a game of pool. If you're stopping by in Bridgwater, this is definitely a warm welcome!
I found the manageress to be very rude to me.
I have been going to The Cross Riffle's with 3 or 4 friends for about 15 years.
We usually go on a Friday evening about once every 4 weeks or so.
It is usually quite loud and sometimes it's hard to make conversation.
We always have a good night's drinking, and the Carling extra cold particularly good, Although I do wish they would sell Pernod!
The clientele are mostly regulars, the most outstanding being a group of very friendly Lesbians, who are often up for a laugh. All in all a great bunch of people and the Bar Staff are great as well.
The Reason I only give it 4 stars is Because they Don't Sell Pernod.
Love the monthly karaoke nights with Starturn Karaoke. Never any trouble H sees to that. Very chilled night lots of regulars.you need to turn up regularly to form an impression.take time to enjoy yourself before you form lasting memories.
Popped in this evening, fab pub, lots of late drinking, great environment and great service, old school pun, well worth a visit..
