It's a good pub/restaurant with both drinks and food options available. We got the fish and chips which was delicious, although the fish was too soft. The roasted chicken with seasoned curly fries was our favourite! The ambience is just fine, it can be a bit loud at times but it's a good location to go with friends or family for large gatherings.

An absolutely lovely place to sit down and eat at. We came here for lunch, and when we arrived we were greeted with the tasteful interior decoration that reflects the local area very well. The food was fantastic - it's what you'd expect from a highly rated restaurant and it certainly delivered; the fish and chips were cooked perfectly, but the best dish was the spaghetti carbonaro. The carbonaro was creamy, comforting and delicious. For dessert, the sticky toffee pudding was heavy, of course, but still perfect. I couldn't talk about this place without mentioning the service - we received fantastic service and have no complaints there. Finally, the location is nice, as it's close to the loch for nice views but is only 3 mins walk away from the nearest car park. Overall, highly recommend and will definitely visit again next time I'm in Fort William.
We visited this place twice in one day. Initially to the bar where the crowd were chatty, warm and friendly.
On their recommendation we decided to return in the evening and have a meal. One of us had sirloin steak and the other a loaded burger.
The restaurant was busy! Both meals were excellent and the staff were organised, attentive and their timing to take your order was on point. However, after giving us our bill they then forgot about us (our table was in a blind spot to the till) and we had to pay as we left.
This was a tiny thing though and we felt they still deserved a tip as up to that point the food and service was first class.

Great little bar, the food is amazing, definable recommed the tomato soup best I've ever had, also the haggis bites were amazing.
Lovely pub and restaurant with a great menu, tasty food, great selection of drinks and really great service - so attentive and proactive.
This cute little pub in the city center has it all! The menu was extensive and everything we had was delicious, there was a fun relaxed atmosphere but the best was the services. The staff were happy, helpful and added to the enjoyment of dining in this Resturant and bar. We enjoyed two of the burgers, the crofter platter and our daughter had Mac and cheese. All Yummo and we left with very full bellies!
