We really enjoyed our stay at The Crest Motel. We found it charming. Our room was uniquely decorated. The courtyard is lovely with places to sit and mood lighting in the evenings. It’s kind of a cross between a vacation rentals by owner with a homeo eclectic feel and an overnight stay in a hotel. While there are amenities, normally found in the hotel that are missing such as an ice machine or a hairdryer, there are also beautiful little sitting areas as well as some fun, unique things in each room. We would absolutely stay here again. It was a good value for the money, as well as being a very enjoyable stay.
Very nice motel. It’s an older motel that has been renovated. It was clean, comfortable, and quiet. Had a refrigerator, microwave, comfortable temperature, and nice modern sink area. I liked the contactless check-in and check-out - communication was quick and easy. Great for a stay when you don’t need a pool or breakfast.
Zero regrets! What a really, cool motel. We got a parking spot right out front and the grounds were AWESOME!! Even the room was kinda funky. A microwave with a mirrored door, a sink that was a glass bowl, a bathroom with a walk-in shower, etc. Absolutely loved the uniqueness of this place vs corporate-sanitized hotels. I can't speak for the dining options in this town because we had already eaten in Denver and we arrived just before dark. I just wish we would have had time to relax outside on their patio because it looked so inviting. And on top of it all, it was extremely affordable compared to the big hotel chains. I hope it's still around the next time we get out this way again because it's a definite return for me! Oh yeah, and one last thing. I liked how it was similar to an Airbnb. I didn't have to stand in line at a check-in counter with a bunch of screaming kids all around me and having to wait for the attendant to go back and forth between me and answering the phone. I received a text with the door pad code and we just let ourselves in. Same thing with checking out...just close the door and leave. Perfect!!
This is an older hotel with designer updates. The room and bathroom are on the small side, but it is quite nice. The bright green retro refrigerator was a nice touch. There is no staff on the premise. You are given a door code, and you let yourself in. This process went quite smoothly. The hotel grounds are very pretty.
Definitely a hidden gem in Northern Colorado. The room I had was great. Cozy. It doesn't have that hotel feel. Great price as well. Definitely will always stay in this hotel going forward.
Stopped here for the night on a road trip. Nice rooms, comfortable beds. Easy self check in.
I really enjoyed our stay here, the hotel was beautiful! Very thoughtful touches. I would definitely stay again. We had an easy walk to the place we had dinner which took us by some beautiful buildings(including the library) and a park.
Booked a Friday/Saturday stay for my dad and he ended up needing to push it back a day and they easily accommodated. He couldn’t say enough good things about the room and how nice it was and that he will be staying there every time he comes back. He said the bed was comfy and that he also loved the craftsmanship of the room and the quiet location. Will recommend the Crest over and over to anyone coming through Sterling.
