Completely delicious food. Scallops cooked to perfection, mussels were flavoursome and also cooked perfectly. Chips are spot on. The bacon & scallop bap/sandwich is a must try. Super friendly & helpful staff members ????
Great fish and chips and scallops, highly recommend!
Lots of fresh caught seafood to choose from. Great view and right by the ferry over to Iona.
We stayed close by and ordered by phone- it was ready in 5 minutes which was great! I had the smoked haddock and mozzarella fish cake which was to die for! Made even better with the views you get when eating it! I’m coming back for the langoustines!
A lobster with a view!
We really enjoyed our food from The Creel Seafood Bar. After a long (and rather rainy) walk around Iona, we hopped off the ferry and headed to the seafood hut.
My 12 year old and I had a half lobster and chips. My husband and 7 year old had haddock and chips. All were freshly cooked. The lobster was succulent and flavourful, complemented by a well-balanced garlic butter that enhanced but didn't overpower the taste of the lobster. The chips were absolutely delicious. The batter of the haddock was beautifully seasoned and had herbs which was a lovely twist.
Not only was the food great, but we sat outside on picnic benches and had a glorious view out to Iona. If you are in the area then I highly recommend this place.
Slummed it by ordering lobster & chips on a polystyrene plate ????
Fun atmosphere eating on the benches at the roadside. But the lobster was pretty tough so it was very difficult to eat with the wooden disposable cutlery. I do feel for £22 the lady could have brought it out through the side door rather than me squeezing past the other guests to collect it when my name was called. But I guess that’s all part of the experience.
The chips were made from real potato ????and soggy which is exactly what most would expect from a kiosk, so fair enough.
I reckon the kiosk at Oban ferry terminal was much better so now I have a chance to go there again and test my theory.
Amazing little place the fish and chips is the best the chips are handmade and the seafood is fresh caught by the owners cousin and dad !!!!! Amazing you must stop here
The batter on the fish is so unique and what I love most about it is it’s crunchy and thin and doesn’t detract from the amazing fish! The chips were fabulous too- full of flavor and skin on! We also had the Cullen skink which was delicious. We really appreciate the paper and compostable take away containers and the wooden cutlery. Happy this place was open as most things are closed now being end of October and all.
A lot of food for given price. But everything was just so full of fat... I can't even tell if fish was good, all I could taste was oil.
I don't think it's the best seafood on Mull. I wouldn't go there again.
