Best KPortal Reviews
Wow! We are traveling through the area and read the reviews, and knew we wanted to eat here. Walked right in on a Sunday evening, got a table right away. We ordered chicken fajitas and asada street tacos, split them, and they were both excellent! The asada meat was delicious and super tender! The best we’ve had! It came with salsa verde which was spicy hot and yummy! The salsa and chips were great too, and hubby’s guacamole was definitely homemade with chunks of avocado and onion and seasoned perfectly. We will be back again (and will be telling others who come through the area)!
Be aware, menu prices are for cash, and there’s an upcharge for paying by card, but it’s still totally worth it!
Come on out to the boondocks for some delicious food!
wow what a neat little find in a country town and let me telllll youuuuu!!! these people were so nice young girl and boy wer workin didn’t catch their names but wer kind enough to talk to me until my food was ready :) and the food ??? amazing 10/10 portions wer great, fresh, seasoned and quick ???? till next time crazy donkey !
Great place and great service. Prices were not the same as on the menu, not a big deal. I just wish this was expressed before we got our bill.
Nice place to stop off the freeway in a in a cute town. The shrimp in the molcajete was fantastic. The chips and salsa are decent, although the chips are a little thick and hard. They give you a discount if you pay cash. Friendly servers and owners.
Stopped here on a road trip after seeing the billboard on the highway. Glad we did! Excellent food, friendly service, cool atmosphere. Very reasonably priced too. Would come again if we ever pass through here again!
Traveling from Houston to Tennessee and saw the sign. Decided to check it out and so glad we did. Food was DELICIOUS!! I had especial enchiladas w/chicken. My husband ordered street tacos. We had our little yorkie with us so it was nice to be able to sit on the front patio and be served instead of going through a drive through. We will definitely stop there again.
Great stop off highway. Service with a smile and pleasant. Food was fresh hot and good. Family had crazy fries came out crispy and good bacon. Street tacos were good a little too much cilantro for me but family liked it. Worth a stop and don't forget the soft serve ice cream dessert only a buck.
I stopped in back in September. Food was amazing, service was fast and very helpful. Staff was great. I have told everyone I know, if they travel the 40, make sure you eat their.
