Stopped in for Happy Hour because of their sign outside and it was well worth a visit!
We didn’t try the proper seafood boil this time, but look forward to returning.
The garlic noodles were really good, as were the loaded tots! Definitely two appetizers worth trying and I appreciated the variety of apps and items they had on special.
It’s BYOB, which is cool as well. I tried the Peach Tea/Lemonade and it was really nice.
The service was friendly and they also have a whole area with delicious-looking popsicles, too!
First time here, and we're definitely coming back!! It's also BYOB!!!
My friend and I both got the Lovers Cove (meant for 2 people). Perfectly seasoned, and delicious. There was so much food!
We also ordered fries and their May special- Mussels Cioppio.
They have a peach tea that we mixed our Kettle One botanical peach vodka with, yum.
Great service too. Will definitely be back.
First time at this place and been wanting to track down a good seafood boil place in Chicago for a while!
Firstly, the absolute biggest surprise was definitely the fish tacos. Super flavourful and only $5 for 3!
As for the seafood boil, I thought their prices were very reasonable and the seafood was very fresh. Overall a great experience but my only critique would be that they added more sauce to the boil bag itself. I found it a little bland and there wasn’t enough sauce in the bag and under the shells. Once I ordered extra sauce, it tasted much better and way more delectable!
Would definitely come back but will continue to try some other seafood boil places as well
The paleta/popsicle station here is SO good. The flavor selection isnt huge but they are made very well. I got the mango with fruity pebbles and condensed milk drizzle and it was so good and creamy. My girlfriend had the ube popsicle with waffle cone bits and condensed milk drizzle!
We had dined in originally for some of their seafood boil but unfortunately were not impressed with it. Their seasoning seems to be lacking flavor and overall nothing particularly special. Their ice cream station is a MUST though, so make sure to try it out if you are not dining in!
Service was great! All the servers were very friendly and we had a great time :)
Checked out Crab Pad and had a super fun dining experience. Love the seafood boil and I believe this is one of the best seafood boil Chicago. The food is a total flavor fest and the portion sizes are good and easily shareable. Its a BYOB spot and I love their build your own popsicles. We tried the chocolate and peach flavors and liked them both .
We had the apps from the happy hour menu and got the shrimp combo, wings, garlic noodles, spicy Cajun fries, nacho fries, loaded tots, Thai chicken rice plate, popsicle, and tea lemonade. Each of the items we got was a 10/10!
The service is a great and the food arrives quickly. Highly recommend.
Went here for my first seafood boil and it was a bit underwhelming. Not enough seasoning on food to bring out the flavor. The service was great and the music selection was definitely a vibe! The tea lemonades are great for BYOB as well!
Service was excellent. Food was not good at all. I order Cajun plate the muscle. It taste like marinara with a little bit of Cajun. SMH the bags the girls said they gave a 5/10. The garlic noodles tasted like garlic noodles but sweet. Which threw us off. The only good food on the table was the plain white rice and fish tacos. Just close the joint and open a fish taco joint. Leave the seafood boil to Anger crab or crazy crab.
Must-go seafood boil ???? ???? in Logan Square! @crabpad
Theresa opened this spot in 2016 after craving some Cajun crab. But she couldn't find any good spots so she opened one herself! This is Vietnamese inspired Cajun, with locally sourced Cajun + buttery garlicky goodness ????
We got the Snow crab legs + crawfish + large shrimp. Comes with green beans, potatoes, and corn ????
☝️Pro tip 1: add garlic noodles! Soaks up the bomb sauce for a delicious meal
☝️Pro tip 2: get the shrimp head-on, they use the really tasty large shrimp that has roe in it too, which makes the sauce even more flavorful
☝️Pro tip 3: bring your own booze! They have a delicious mixer , I loved the peach and mango ones! They have strawberry too. I loved them as is, but you can add tequila , gin, or vodka etc
☝️Pro tip 4: GET THEIR POPSICLES. The cookies and cream was DELICIOUS and you can mix and add different toppings
Don't forget their apps, got the spicy hot Cheeto elotes+ hot Cheeto Mac & cheese balls
Note Street parking available!
Always check out their site, they have lots of deals happening all the time, like the fathers day one coming up
