Absolutely gorgeous place the food is really good now they have soft serve ice cream so that’s exciting. The owner is super nice. Service was great. The view is priceless. Love this place.
The service:
Took us about 15 mins to get a waiter to come over and bring us some water. After that we were able to place our order and it took another 35 mins to get our food. The restaurant hand other patrons in it, but really it wasn't busy at all.

The food:
Actually pretty solid food. Quite a limited menu, but the buffalo chicken sandwich special was very good. My girlfriend got the American Burger (charged a dollar extra for cheese, like come on). They forgot to add all the toppings to the burger, and those showed up after the burger was nearly finished. However, that was nice. Whatever sauce they put on was very scrumptious. The fries were skinny, but still alright.
Overall, if you have the time, I'd say it's worth it not a good place for a quick bite to eat.
I haven't been to the Cove for a decade. It was beautiful inside and we enjoyed watching boaters going by while we ate. Since it was close to opening there were few customers. Our waitress was wonderful and the manager/cook came out to see how we were doing. There were a few hiccups, but they just opened and had all new staff. The food was delicious, portion size almost too much and price comparable to other restaurants in the area.
My husband and I came in opening night (May First) and had the Philly Fries. They were so delicious. Crispy fries smothered in white cheese sauce, chopped beef, sautéed fresh green peppers and onions. We devoured them and then had a Crab Rangoon Pizza! Our sever was attentive and professional and our drinks were never empty! The NEW OWNERS have turned this place around and we are so grateful to have The Cove close to home. We will absolutely be returning many times this season! Thank you to the new owners and their awesome staff!
The new owners of the Cove Restaurant have not disappointed. Our Friday night shrimp and cod dinners were delicious. Their soup was outstanding and service was excellent. We will be back! Go see for yourself, you won’t be disappointed. These people know how to run a restaurant!
Fantastic service and food! We called and made a reservation which was simple and easy to do. Waitress was excellent and very attentive through a busy service (shout out Myla!) Food was great and we will definitely be back!
It isn't fair to read any reviews prior to May 1st of this year. New owners and new menu. What remains the same is the beautiful location on Apple Canyon Lake. The menu is varied and there are lots of options that didn't come out of the deep fryer. I had the steak burrito bowl and my husband had the chicken tenders with a side of coleslaw. We both brought enough home to have a second dinner last night. Thoroughly enjoyed our choices. Heads up. Their liquor license was delayed at the State level, so if having a drink with your meal is a necessity, call ahead to see if it has arrived.
We stopped for dinner with our two young children. The service was great, food came out hot and was delicious. Huge improvement from previous cove operations. Michelle and Rob are doing it right!
