This place is great! Best potato skins ever eaten. Worth the trip for sure.
Pretty empty. Menu selection pretty good, but tried to order 2 different entrees + ice cream - they were out. Only open Wednesday till Sunday at 2. Food supply truck doesn't get there till Thursday. Seems like they should be open Thursday till Sunday at 2.
AMAZING!!! FOLKS AND FOOD!!! Got the all you can eat catfish and asked for a to go tray and more fish! They brought me fresh hot fish to go !! On the all you can eat.. everyone else loved it to. There was almost group singing upon first bite????
When we got there we were told that we could only eat off of the buffet. There were few options but because it was Sunday, and all of the other restaurants nearby were closed, we decided it was enough. As we sat down we noticed that the people sitting closest to us had chosen off of the menu, as had the people across the room. We ordered our sodas and got our food. The food was dry and starting to get cold. The bread was inedible because it was so hard. We went back for dessert which wasn't bad at all, it tasted a few hours old but was probably the highlight of the meal. We noticed that the people working there started cleaning up around us; stacking chairs, sweeping, mopping. We asked what time they closed and they said 3 PM. When we looked at the time it had just turned 2. It seems as if we had to eat off of the buffet so they would have less to clean up and could close earlier. I was extremely disappointed with both the food and the service. Not to add it cost $35 for only two people to eat and the options were very limited. I didn't feel like I got what I paid for at all. I wouldn't eat here again.
Too bad that there was so much rain that few customers showed up. As a result food didn't turn over and was cold. Not typical for Jamie's Cove which is usually excellent.
The BEST Catfish ever and the Sunday Lunch Buffet was awesome! Great food at reasonable prices!
Best food in the area at a very fair price the only downside is they're only open during the summer
