Great service, food, and location.
We highly recommend the Full English breakfast. The only thing missing (in my opinion) was a slice of quality Black Pudding.
The breakfast ingredients were good quality and very flavoursome.

The English breakfast was nice ♥️ with non oily, crunchy hash-brown. Cafe latte and Americano were perfect.
Kindly service from senior staff, but should improve about service mind from the younger one.
Dined in here today for the first time with my family of 8 including two grandkids . Had a bacon omelette and it was amazing . The staff catered for all our needs . We'll be back again soon ..
My wife and I paid a winter visit to Skeggy yesterday and wasn’t sure where to call for lunch.
We came across The Cottage Loaf by chance and gave it a try.
I had meat pie veg and chips and my wife had vegetarian meal with chips.
Both meals were absolutely lovely and came in on the 2 for £17 deal.
The staff were really helpful and friendly and everywhere was spotlessly clean.
Next visit ,we know exactly where we will head for our food.
We have eaten here many times over the years sadly today was nothing unusual my partner ordered plain omelette and salad but got the above with chips. When the order was replaced the omelette was dry as though it had been cooked 3 months ago and frozen to death. I had steak pie, chips and pea's the pie pastry was lovely unfortunately it contained 3 pieces of very dry tough beef, the chips were frozen and undercooked. We were not asked by anyone if the meal was satisfactory. At its best I would give it an average rating but come here if you want overpriced poor quality food.

If your looking for a cafe to remind you of the past then this is the ideal one. Its still set in its old fashioned way, you walk in and and its still set like the late 80's or early 90's. You wont find younger crowds or familys but great for a coffee over a catch up
