Best KPortal Reviews

My daughter and I are SO glad that the restaurant down the road was so rude to us otherwise we wouldn't have been able to experience this incredible establishment. From the minute we walked in, we were warmly welcomed and had nothing but extraordinary service the entire time. I hate that I do not remember our server's name because he was the nicest young man. We both had the "lightly" sweetened tea and it was perfect. For starters, we shared a crab cake. I have had crab cakes in numerous restaurants and numerous states and this was THE BEST. Seasoned and cooked to perfection. It had us fighting for the last bite. Our entrees were the Cajun Seafood Pasta and the Cajun Chicken Sandwich with fries. Take me seriously when I tell you that that pasta was the best thing I have ever eaten in my LIFE! Every bite left me shaking my head in disbelief. My very petite daughter put away the whole chicken sandwich, she couldn't put it down and her fries were simplistically splendid. The immaculate food, impeccable hospitality, and absolute chummy environment will have us driving the 4 hours from home just to eat here again.
Pros: Our server was very friendly and knowledgeable. The restaurant is small but never felt cramped.
Cons: Ordered the shrimp and grits. The shrimp and sausage were flavorful but I could not enjoy my grits because the grease from the sausage was not drained AT ALL. Very soupy and hard to stomach.
Thankfully, the manager offered to remake.
The Corner Grille is hidden gem on Mainstreet. The service was exceptional! Our server well explained everything divine on the menu. I had the special of fried rainbow trout with savory grits and delicious cream sauce. My husband had a cheeseburger and garlic mash that he said was amazing. We also had the fried brussel sprouts that came with cream sauce the was very tasty. My favorite was the gumbo, so flavorful! Will definitely be back for more!
Went here Wednesday during lunch time. The restaurant is on the smaller side, so we did have to wait 20 minutes to be seated, as it is busy. It was worth the wait. Vanessa was our server, she's AWESOME, ask for her. The ambiance, service and food was beyond AMAZING. I really enjoyed everything about this place.
We visited from the Toronto area and specifically chose to eat at this restaurant as it's listed on multiple websites as one of the best places to eat in Atlanta. They definitely did not disappoint. The young man who served us and took care of our table, was attentive, considerate, kind and efficient. He did a great job! The chef was able to ensure my dietary restrictions were taken care of and the salad was delicious! I would have never thought sweet potatoes in a salad would be so good. The restaurant got fairly busy as we sat there throughout the lunch time but it didn't affect our service. The bathrooms were clean and adequate street parking was available. I would definitely recommend this restaurant!! Bonus is that it's a short drive from the airport. That was our first stop and it was worth it.
I travel for work and this restaurant is our go to every time we are in ATL. Everything I’ve tried on the menu has been exceptional. I can’t even say I have a favorite! The host/hostess and staff are always extremely friendly and have great recommendations. The atmosphere is inviting and energetic; music is set to allow guests to have great conversation. All in all a great experience.
This was my first time at this establishment. I thought it had a very nice atmosphere upstairs. Pretty quiet. Nice decor. Bright and sunny on the day we went. Food was great. We reserved the upstairs for a small business lunch with seven people. We were the only people upstairs. No one had complaints about their food. Nice size portions. I had the catfish po-boy with french fries. I would definitely order that again. Another person had chicken with broccoli and rice. The broccoli was huge which was great for the price. Someone else had Cajun shrimp pasta. They really enjoyed it as well. The staff was friendly however, we did have to remind the waitress to bring a few things but nothing drastic. I'd go back again to try something else. I recommend you to try them as well. Almost forgot, the 98 inspection score is ALWAYS a win for me
We were visiting from out of town and staying near College Park. So glad we stopped in!! This place is a real gem. The atmosphere is very warm and calm, with cozy tables perfect for conversation. The bar was beautiful and we were able to get a peach ???? margarita, since we're in Georgia and all, but it was honestly delicious. The food was fresh, prepared well, and delectable. I got the blackened Cajun chicken sandwich and would absolutely recommend it! There were no leftovers on any of our plates. Parking is easy and the College Park area seems to be pedestrian friendly, however I am from out of town so take that at face value. The staff is all exceptional, from the hostess to the bar staff to the waiter we were all in great hands and had a lovely time.
