Nice pint of Heineken, worth the money! Ice cold. Good pool table and plenty of tvs for sports and a nice atmosphere
Bar staff were wonderful and turned what was a disaster of a night into a great night.
Brought a drink over for the birthday and offered alternatives to the drinks that they didn't have.
If I'm ever back down that way again I would definitely pop back in xx
Right next to the ground. When I was in there there was a decent choice of beer. Can't imagine they charge as much for a Heineken (£4.50) on a non-matchday. Music was far too loud and the seemed no point to having it on, let alone that loud. All in all, an average pub for an away game, good service at the bar as well. Friendly staff.
The only possible downer to this bar is that the music is a little bit on the loud side. Apart from that it is really excellent the staff are extremely polite, very well presented and helpful. The range of beers is really excellent from some good well-known real ales to a range of lagers which includes the almost unavailable Krusovice!!!! This is a Czech beer with hundreds of years of history behind it. You really have to try it.
Very upscale bar great food. People and fantastic owners and crew. Great place to enjoy music and party..a 20 on a scale of 1..10
Good selection of beers but pricey at £4.50 a pint of lager. I went 100 yd’s up the Rd to the next bar & paid £2.25 for a pint of lager. Just as good ! The price they charge one would at least expect SOAP & paper in toilets...... but no.
Good beer selection, keenly priced, very welcoming, plenty of tvs to watch sport, only downside was plastic beakers to drink out of.. Appreciate its a football Saturday but I've never enjoyed a pint out of a plastic beaker.. Other than that good pub, friendly locals..
Pint of Corner Bar Bitter was off. Replacement Taylor's Landlord was better. No quibble service and helpful staff. The level of comfort has improved. Nearest bar to the station and prices ok. Busy this evening.
