Best KPortal Reviews

The wait was insane but this place is awesome. Their food is so so so good, especially their chicken and waffles. My omelette was great but that fried chicken was heavenly. From their pumpkin pancakes to their peanut butter cookie with Reese’s, everything was delicious. Highly recommend!!
I want to start this review out by saying this place is a gem. The chicken is delicious, the mashed potatoes top tier, and the coconut dessert we had was divine. Everything was tasty, but some was nothing to write home about.
The fried okra was okay. I love fried okra and make it every special occasion. It was my favorite Sunday staple growing up, and this dish here, while good, was not the best. It came out a little cold and some pieces didn’t have any flavor at all.
The macaroni wasn’t anything special. It was edible, but lacked any flavor other than salt. We ordered a couple different sauces to go with our chicken plate. The white sauce is good, but is not traditional. It’s the consistency of ranch. The honey mustard was okay.
The chicken and waffles were our favorite out of the two entrees. The sweet waffle and savory chicken paired really well together. I enjoyed putting a little pepper sauce on the chicken to give it a little kick as well.
Overall, we will be back and I will edit my review accordingly. We had just got there right before a big rush and that could have honestly been the issue with a lot of my complaints. My biggest one being was that it took nearly 40 minutes to get our food. I don’t care to wait, but it’s disheartening to see people who ordered after you not only get their food, but eat and leave before you even get your meal.
Everyone was super friendly and the place is cute.
This was a nice, casual place for a reasonably priced breakfast! I really liked the counter service vibe, it was pretty unique for a place that isn’t fast food. I was there on a Sunday morning at 8am and it wasn’t busy at all. I had the Caramelized French Toast and it was good! My partner had the Chicken & Waffle Benedict and he also liked it! Nothing too rave about, but I would come back.
This place is fantastic. I like to consider myself somewhat of a Chicken Sandwich connoisseur and this definitely didn’t disappoint. You can tell they use good seasonings and balance the heat level just right. I will be returning to this establishment next time I’m in the area.
The red velvet pancakes were amazing; no syrup needed. The chicken scramble (with pieces of chicken tenders) was very savory. The biscuits and gravy were like none other I had ever tasted. The piece of fried chicken was not greasy and very tasty. The cinnamon roll had great taste but was a little dry, perhaps because it was a corner piece.

Went there for the first time on a Sunday after church. I order the Chicken and Waffles Benedict I could not eat the egg , the sauce for the Benedict was not very appetizing . The waffle was bland and the coffee was watery. I don’t think I will be going back. The atmosphere was cozy and it is a nice set up and different . Breakfast no so great. My son order chicken and waffles, the chicken was good and crispy
Third time trying the Coop, and sealed the deal that I won't order/dine again. Nothing special about burnt edge French toast, lukewarm gravy, and shashooka. Gravy has a good kick to it, very flavorful.
The tenders are incredibly tasty when you dine in though if u get carry out breading come right off the fried green tomatoes and chicken tender.
Ok this place is cool looking and has a southern charm theme which it definitely stick to through the restaurant. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The dessert selections are very delicious. The chicken is seasoned to perfection.
The problem...?
All of the food is seasoned the same way, so the chicken and potatoes and bacon taste the same. I don't want all of my food to taste the same, their should be distinct differences-flavor wise-between bacon and chicken. Also the way you get your food is a bit chaotic because servers have to search for the table you're sitting at. They might as well invest in a PA system and call your number to grab your food. Having a server go table to table asking whether or not you ordered something is annoying for them as well as the person who has to keep getting excited for food that turns out NOT to be theirs. The potential here is great however the execution could use some improvements.
