The duck, sausage and papikash entree’s were fantastic. Nice vibe in the place with the live music. Several visits from the owner to offer excellent wine pairings. We will definitely be going back soon.
Our second visit was everry bit as impressive as our first and all four meals played to rave reviews. The chicken parikash was ordered by a person who wife is Hungarian and has been making paprikash for him over a forty year period from her mother's recipe. He properly announced that this meal was "almost" as good as his wife's paprikesh recipe. Good move Gary! The two fish dinners and the Hungaiian sausage were also quite special.
This second floor restaurant on downtown Saraota's Main Street is accessible by sidewalk entry stairs or a convenietnt elevator. Once inside you find yourself in a very "cool" modern, yet retro, restaurant with a large bar area, entertainment and a truly refreshing ambiance. Highly recommend this too cool spot on Main Street Sarasota.
Absolutley loved the atmosphere! My friend and I stopped in for a drink, and I was delighted to find Hendrix featured on their drink menu. The bartender Richard was awesome and made delicious drinks. We did not try any of the food, but it all looked and smelled amazing. I will definitely be back to try it out!
Real good Hungarian goulash served in a cute red small traditional hungarian pot, really tasty little bit spicy for me :) Nokedli was also delicious and we were able to taste real Hungarian wines. Service was quick and prompt!! Thank you Zoltán
Bartender was friendly and fantastic. The craft cocktails were fun and the selection is wide. The appetizers and desert we had were amazing. A little hidden, but a great find!
Eclectic mix of classic, Hungarian and seafood delights. Specials that please as well. Wine list solid with a smattering of domestic and international flavors. Seafood stew and ribeye del monico were nicely done. Wait staff was attentive and knowledgeable about the food.
This place is a must! Exceptional bar service, excellent food, vegetarian and vegan options are delightful! Ambience is lovely and the cocktails are exquisite!
This place has a cool modern slightly industrial vibe. It is on the 2nd floor and has stairs as well as a street entrance elevator. The cocktails are very good and the food is excellent. We attended on a Thursday before theater and they had a guitarist with a female singer. They had a range of standards and pop songs and were very good. There were not many people when we were there and we hope they get noticed as they source clean foods and have an imaginative menu.
