I have nothing to say about this place except that it makes arguably the best sausage rolls I have ever eaten. After a long and winding hike through the Lakes to the majestic estate of John Ruskin, I wandered back to Coniston and visited his grave and then went to this lovely establishment and devoured a warm and sumptuous sausage roll. Doing so was one of the most soothing and splendid experiences I have had in a long time.
Absolutely wonderful little cafe, we grabbed a coffee on Sunday before adventuring out then came back for a beautiful breakfast wrap on Monday morning before going off for a hike.
Amazing service, delicious food and we adored sitting in the window watching the worl go by.

We can't go to coniston without coming in here for ice-cream for our two children. The ice-cream is gorgeous. All the baked bits we've tried have been excellent and the lady in the shop is just so warm and welcoming. She even added some extra bits to my husbands birthday ice-cream last year which was a nice touch. Can't recommend enough!!
Primarily: incredible sandwiches for mountains or hangovers (like what I am suffering). Secondly: coffee and of good quality. A local firm who do belting food and brews. That's all you need to know.
Love coming here on a day off and getting a breakfast to start the day! Great choice of breakfast sandwiches which all taste lovely and great coffee too. Always have super speedy service as well ☺️
Best coffee around. Lovely place in the heart of Coniston. Reasonably priced. Lovely home made cakes and very friendly staff. Everything is responsible and locally sourced and they go to great effort. They also offer free water refill for hikers and passers by. A really great place that is well needed in Coniston.
Probably one of the greatest cheese and onion pies I've had for a very long time! Fantastic little cafe with a good selection. Very welcoming staff.
