It was a real and immersive experience in an English pub who made the story of this beautiful village The Lee. Highly recommended.
First visit since the recent referb. They've done a great job injecting new life into a great pub in a great location. Serving really good roasts at the weekend, which wasn't apparent looking online at the time of writing
Absolutely loved the food on our first time sampling the new restaurant menu.... Can't wait to try the new changing menus through the seasons.Very relaxed atmosphere and friendly staff and good wine selection....Wild Sea bass was sublime ????
Lovely place, delicious food at my Auntie's celebration. Coffee and cake needs to be tasted too. Highly recommended a visit.
Stop for a rather excellent coffee. Didn't have a cake but they looked great. Really nice decor after the recent referb.
Recently moved to the area and this is my new local, so I've only been going since Oliver took over. Oliver, his son and the staff are all very lovely and this place is feeling like a real centre for the community. The booze is reasonably priced and I very much look forward to the full renovation being completed so that the kitchen can be used. Though in the meantime, they make the most of the outdoor BBQ and the burgers are delicious.

I like what they have done with the refurbishment. Good stuff looks very clean and presentable in the front bar too.
WiFi available in the pub which is excellent and it does work in some areas outside in the bear garden but near the pub. Pretty fast speed too.
They do good BBQ's I have heard so will be good to savour one at some point.

The iced lemon cake was delicious, the view out onto the green was very pleasant.
