Not the quality most of the other reviews suggest. Fish itself was nice but wrapped in batter with a leathery outer and uncooked against the fish. Chicken fillets were dry and needed the garlic dip. Chips dry and rubbery. Best chippy in the area, because it’s the only one perhaps?

Clearly a very good chipper judging by how busy it was. Despite the queue still only had to wait 15 minutes. The food was great and it was a bonus to be able to take it down to the beach to enjoy. Certainly we had no leftovers for any seagulls that might have chanced it!
Great fish & chips. The batter in the fish was beautifully crispy & the fish chunky & fresh. Chips were well cooked with plenty of crispy bits. 5 stars ????
