In town celebrating a graduation and family wanted to go to this place. It was storming pretty bad, and the place was pretty busy. We ended up outside on the covered patio. Service was not that great as the server was not attentive. Probably because they automatically add the gratuity for parties of 5/6 or more. We waited more than an hour for our entrées to arrive, long waits for drinks, and even salads. When food finally came, it was only after I had to track down the waiter and ask about it. Our party seemed to like the food for the most part. I thought the sides were skimpy for the price, and there weren't a lot of options for non-meat eaters. I would go back again to give a fair comparison, as there were some good points (cocktails), but sadly, the first visit was subpar overall.
Our meal was absolutely delicious. The raw oysters were full, juicy and very clean and come with all the fixings. Duck & sausage Gumbo is different but our 4 year old liked it. They do let you sample soups before ordering which is nice! The loaded crawfish fries were absolutely delicious as well as the buffalo wings. The portion sizes are very large. We thoroughly enjoyed our meal here and highly recommend it if you’re looking for a nice place to dine.
While visiting my daughter at LSU she recommended eating dinner here and now we know why. We were able to be seated quickly. The meals we ordered arrived timely and were delicious. The service we received was spot on. Overall, a great time was had by all. Definitely will be a repeat customer!
We were going through Baton Rouge and stumbled upon this place. What a pleasant surprise! Our waitress Kayla was absolutely amazing and the food was worth it! I highly suggest the pepperjack charbroiled oysters and the crawfish fries!!
Both Chimes near LSU and this location have yet to disappoint me. If you are new, try out their gumbo. It's great! Also to note, the atmosphere is amazing. As always, I highly recommend.
I love this place! We were a large group celebrating my birthdayand the waitress was amazing. If you like seafood, please tey the seafood lasagna, it qas delicious and enough to take home for lumch the following day.
Good atmosphere and delicious seafood. The service was also very helpful. The only thing they probably need to improve a little more is with oyster presentation.
My family just had lunch here and it was wonderful. The food, service and atmosphere were great. Kaitlyn was the best.
