We had a couple of enjoyable drinks and The Chemist. The bartender was fast and friendly. The price seemed a little , probably the norm for being down at the beach. The bartender went the extra mile and found some quarters for us to feed the parking meter while we walked around. They don't use change there so he did have to hunt and it did help us out! Thank you for everything!
This place is amazing. I highly recommend it. The music is great especially if you are a fan of rap and hip hop. The staff Bruce and Dez is outstanding and very interactive making your experience even better.
Atmosphere was great drink was great although I initially came here because I saw online someone else had posted a menu with a Nashville, hot chicken and when I get there, the place has no food. Other than being disappointed by not having food still a good place for drinks.
If you’re wanting to come here for the experience make sure you call before to make sure they can provide that.
I showed up to this place with a bachelorette party of 8. We put this place in our itinerary because the pictures and advertisement looked amazing! We showed up on a Thursday night around 9:30-10pm, mind you they had just opened at 8pm, we sit down and are starving so we ask for the food menu and the waitress tells us they have basically no food except for stuff they can quickly fry. (It confused me how they were out of stuff when they just opened and there wasn’t even a crowd yet) Our provided menu for the night were fries, mozzarella sticks, and Mac and cheese bites…that’s it. Although disappointed we settled for it cause we were starving. We ask them to make us the cool “chemistry” looking drinks and the waitress basically just says “no we don’t have those glasses.” We are all just disappointed because we came for the experience and the experience of unique looking drinks alone. We ask the waitress for recommendations and they gave us basic, lazy, two ingredient recommendations like whiskey sours and vodka crans, like? we literally could make that at home? This was basically a very low end bar where the bartenders friends come and hang out. The only reason we had an “ok time” is because WE made the place fun. The DJ played rave music the whole time and wouldn’t take ONE song request for the crowd (which was just us) he’s supposed to be entertaining? (Totally understand if you have a set list to follow but it was just an added bummer to the night, it was our last hope for the night)
Regrettably, not a single staff member apologized for the limited offerings or the deviation from the advertised experience. Their indifference left us feeling overlooked and undervalued as customers.
In hindsight, I strongly advise future patrons to confirm the availability of items and experiences before visiting to avoid disappointment. Our experience fell short of expectations, and we hope others have a more fulfilling visit.
Food(from the 3 items provided): ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ (I was starving so I wouldn’t trust this rating, everything’s better when you’re hungry lol)
Drinks:⭐️(were not made well and overpriced, we had an espresso martini and I had whiskey sour which was $13)
Service: ⭐️ (no effort to provide great service)
Atmosphere: ⭐️ (dead, music wasn’t great, and the strobe lights were a bit excessive to the point the party had to close their eyes at some points, we left by 11pm)
The wait is extremely long. I believe its because it's small inside the building. 6 tables, a bar and a back section that was closed. The music is super loud. The waitress couldn't hear us, nor could we hear her. Food ok.
The space is decent but small. Enjoyed my chicken and waffles overall. Definitely a biy lighter than in use to but it worked. The chicken was well cooked and flavorful. Had the bang bang shrimp. Sauce is on the side and they were very lightly breaded. Overall they were cool too. Ordered the margarita tower which gave each of my party of 5 two drinks at least. Loved their entrance with the drink. The dj was on point. Overall, i enjoyed my experience.
Didn’t have ingredients for espresso martini on menu and didn’t have specialty old fashion on menu.
For the price to get mediocre drinks at a place that claims craft cocktails was a let down for our visit.
Came around brunch around 2pm! Wasn’t as busy so I was happy to get in and out! I had the chicken and waffles it was good the chicken was just a little on the greasy side. My other family had the grits and Whiting fish! Which was good! Just wish the grits was a little hotter and less lumpy! Our waiter was nice at first then it seemed as if she was getting annoyed later down the line. Great fun music and atmosphere tho!
