Great, proper pub in lovely surroundings. Perfectly kept garden. Really friendly service and friendly locals. Beer perfectly kept. Cash only but not a problem . . . When a pub doesn't look like a pub, it's probably good!

Great little pub with local ales, a friendly welcome, and a tidy beer garden. Just what we needed after a walk across the fields.
Don’t bother - the landlords are awful. Rude and aggressive to say the least, and that’s before alcohol.
I was en route to another place and only stoppèd because the'phone rang.lhad nothing to do with any castle.Please STOP PESTERING ME every time l go out
