Great little venue for live music, chilled atmosphere and a good pint
Great friendly local pub with good beers on tap and a large beer garden which is great for live music. The landlords are fab and give you a great personal attention. Note the lovely fireplace, carved by local craftsman.

Nice place to have a drink. Also got the Wi-Fi password which is great without asking for us millennials!

It's okay, there is no food but you are allowed to bring your own in. It's dog friendly and I like dogs so this is fine by me ???? Once nature calls and you leave the bar area it's a bit like an outhouse with cold brick work, so wear a jacket! I was quite upset with the ladies toilet. As a woman at a certain time of the month trying to sort myself out was almost impossible in the cubicle space. I left the toilet feeling quite insulted and humiliated if such a thing is possible! So generally, in my experience, this is a man's pub and very much for locals.
Friendly local pub where everyone is made to feel welcome. Excellent selection of guest ales and a wood fired pizza van outside on a Thursday night, where you're welcome to bring them in.
Very poor experience. Surprised the place manages to turn a profit and stay open... Though I suppose locals need somewhere to go. Food was unavailable so instead we popped over to the local corner shop. The whole place inside and out is filthy, smelly and feels like a relic from the 70s... Maybe even the 80s. On the plus side, none of us died so I award one star ????
