A wonderful place to stay ,beautiful cooked breakfast . Great location as I was next to where i needed to be . Very homely and welcoming environment. I would use it again if and when I'm next visiting .
Stayed for one night for business reasons. The staff were freindly and very helpful. The room was comfortable and cosy with an exceptionally comfortable bed. Had a very good beer in the bar. An early appointment prevented us from having breakfast here so unable to comment on that. Very good for the price paid. Would stay again.
Lovely place to stay. Bar staff ( Bob is a lady ) was lovely friendly welcoming food was nice. Willie and birdy run a nice place. Would come back. 5 star. Breakfast is spot on lots to choose from and as much as you like.
We stayed at the Burnett Arms for 5 days - chose it because it was central to the area we wanted to visit. Its very well paced for the castle trail and also for some distilleries - also close enough to Balmoral (which is only open for visiting April-July).||||The bar wouldnt be everyones cup of tea, however there is a lovely beer garden to relax in - with a covered area in case of rain. The hotel side is really nice, lovely decor and has a very nice restaurant area and also a sitting room. ||||The room was very comfortable - it has everything you would want - tea, coffee and biscuits, hairdryer, chairs, fan, TV. A lovely shower and also a storage cupboard. The bed was lovely and it was all very clean and well maintained. ||||Willie and his staff could not do enough for us ... everyone was very very friendly and all the locals wanted to chat and pass the time of day. There was a real local community feel to it.||||We ate in the restaurant every night and the food was delicious and very reasonable. Breakfast was very good - lots of choice, and more than enough in quantity. The restaurant is not open sunday and monday evening but there are some alternatives nearby.||||If you are wanting to visit this area, we cannot recommend the Burnett Arms highly enough - you will not be disappointed
Excellent and welcoming staff. Rooms are basic, but nice and clean. The rooms not cleaned during the stay, beds not made or clean towels given. Also tea, coffee, milk was not refreshed, although given happily if you asked for them. Breakfast alright, the evening meal was not good. No noise from the public bar could be heard upstairs, the restaurant area was well decorated and comfy. Dog friendly in rooms and bar, dogs where not allowed in the restaurant. Pleasant stay, with the evening meal been the only disappointment.
Great atmosphere, good service, friendly staff. Live music at the weekend. Satellite TV for football matches, darts, etc. Have not ordered food on my numerous visits, but it looks very nice and plentiful. Willie, the boss is a great character. Dog friendly, and always clean
I was looking for a reasonably priced place to stay central to some of the walks and castles in the area and came across this little gem of a place. The staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming, though I have to particularly thank Kenda for the all your tips and making the place so fun! The rooms were comfortable and all had en-suites, the food was great and there's live music on the weekends. I originally booked for one night but ended up staying 5! I'd definitely stay there again.
Went to Kemnay,to take old mother in law to visit her sister, went to Burnett Arms for a couple of drinks and were pleasantly surprised the friendliness of everyone, the bar man was a character and knew how to make you feel welcome, never got his name, but a really funny guy visitedon 18/03/23.
