Amazing place, so welcoming and beautiful place, highly recommended and looking forward to visiting again this week.
The food is absolutely delicious I would definitely recommend this pub to eat. The staff are all friendly and polite. The meals are without doubt good value for money. You should definitely pay a visit to this pub.
Took the wife and family for her 50th.. Can’t praise the staff and landlord enough.. The food was amazing made to feel welcome was there from 4pm staggered out at 1130 as the atmosphere was brilliant . Mixed grill was awesome …. Thanks again from Ron and Donna
£18.95 for a mixed grill that comes with a chip shop sausage? Nope. The steak was overdone and the chicken dry. The only really good thing about the mixed grill was the chips.
However, the vegetarian lasagne was very nice and loaded with garlic bread.
Took a family party of 14 mixed ages. We all had a great time, the service was excellent the atmosphere relaxed and friendly, the food perfectly cooked full compliments. Would definitely go again an certainly recommend.
You can't go wrong with the food and service whether you eat in or take out allways been a favourite of mine at a reasonable price also dog friendly no snobbery at the bucks head friendly staff friendly atmosphere friendly people..
Wanted to try this friendly looking pub. Turned up without a reservation ( not a good idea ) but they was very pleased to fit us in. Beautiful carvery. Definitely coming again.
Lovely place , food was OK took a while and was empty at time , but suppose home cooked food takes longer , and you know its fresh done, I did enjoy my fish but person i went with would prefer it a golden then a dark brown batter,
Portion size good value for money.
