If you’re ever in Woodford Green, then you need to come here, this is the heart and soul of the community. The Hospitality is amazing, the owner of this fine establishment has a great track record in community building and supporting entrepreneurs and local businesses. The products offered are of a higher quality (if you can’t find it there will order it for you, just ask) and the customer service is excellent (Madi and Florence I see you ). Ask for the wine nights event, if you are a wine connoisseur. I am not sure why there are negative reviews on here but that’s just life, can’t please everyone.
Such a great place. Throughout the whole of Covid they were open for food and grocery delivery. Truly supporting the local community. They delivered groceries to my family when I could not get to them. The owner, and his (currently) all female team, are fun, informative, full of knowledge and banter. I have been coming to this place and would continue coming back for many more! Not only is the food and drink absolutely unparalleled, but what really makes this place stand out is their outstanding customer service. You really feel you get a really lovely personal experience every visit. The owner Jan is one of my absolute favourite people. He is not only incredibly warm and welcoming… but makes the extra effort with every single client to really be a special person. Their pastries are to die for, lovely treats from here there and everywhere! I usually come to try and buy a different bottle of wine each month as they have a really great selection of unique wines with some really great recommendations! Honestly cannot rate this place enough… I have recommended anyone and everyone to come and experience!
What a lovely little deli this is, we are moving away to Spain, and will miss this friendly place to pop in for some wonderful treats and a coffee. The staff are delightful, especially the owner who is passionate and knowledgeable about his stock, he takes his time with customers, explaining the foods and drinks and gives great pairing suggestions. As a parting gift he even gave me a bottle of Red. Please use this local shop and support your local businesses. I hope we find something similar in Spain????????

Great variety of snacks and delicious products, mostly Mediterranean, but also organic local food too. You will be surprised how quickly your goodies basket is getting full????
I love the place, the dedication of staff and the chatty customers who become your friends after couple of wine tastings, or morning coffees & freshly baked pastries from Mike????
Service was ok, but man told us to leave after buying a coffee or demanded us to buy something to stay inside. Not a fan. Probs not coming back. If you have a place to sit and serve coffee, don’t urge customers to buy stuff or leave.
Update: we came back for a beverage, and upon payment at the till, we were approached by the owner scolding us about “lying” to the public and ourselves with our reviews. I will not be retracting my opinion and changing my rating due to this being a small business. I felt the interactions that I had with the owner to be condescending and felt the need to share my opinion online. Last I checked, freedom of speech is a right in this country.
Staff are always friendly and lovely to talk to, service is fast, great options in store for food and drinks as well as gifts. Happy to be a regular. Highly, highly recommend.
I popped into this shop for the first time last week. I moved to Woodford Green in early January after living in North Chingford for the past decade so was quite keen to explore my new neighbourhood. It was also my first time "out and about" because I've been ill with a nasty chest infection since the move. What a great introduction to the shop and the area! Jung (sp), the owner gave me a tour of the shop and even gifted me the coffee (delicious, btw!) and sweet treat I had ordered as a welcome pressie!
Do check them out - they stock specialty and organic from pantry to deli to personal care. Plus, many items have a reduced carbon footprint.
